I like it the print stands out just right i can read the post easy without leaning forward to read them so much more better on the eyes im not changeing back:j
  • I have been using the stretchy version.

The new fixed version is better than the old fixed version, but there is too much bumpf around each post (the three or four lines of info above, the sig, thanks etc below) which disturbs the "flow".

I also noticed the option to share on FB or Twitter on some posts - now I don't want my posts hitting twitter if someone else decides to click there! (Yes I know the forum is public). Especially given the sensitive nature of a lot of posts on the Marriages/Family board.

When is the major overhaul planned? Is it worth faffing about between now and then, if it's imminent?

I'm not too keen on the user details being at the top of each post, either. It's irritating and it makes it difficult to see the flow of the posts, I think. Like the previous poster, I too ignore most of the user details at the moment as they are at the side of the post, and I like it that way.

I'll be sticking with the stretchy layout if that's possible.

Why are you re-designing it anyway?

I second this. It looks " cluttered" at the top of peoples posts. Other than this i think its ok and i like the pin icon too :D

I do use the stretchy version and i think i will stick to using it thanks..

I agree with One-Eye's suggestions. In addition, as a right handed iPad user I find I often hit the banner/menu on the right hand side in error when I am trying to scroll or page up and down which can be a bit irritating.

Now I've lost the ability to go back to stretchy. Not impressed at all.

The new sticky "pin" icon pin.gifis vastly better though. :)

When viewing a board index, I would still prefer it if the backgroud colour of a sticky thread could be a different colour, distinguishing it even more from the running threads on the board. Some forums do this.

is that what the pin symbol means- a sticky?

Distinct vertical striped shirts suit you better and have almost become a trademark, the one you're wearing in the masthead looks like you've just got out of bed. ;):D
