Wife's bills 5-7 received at TMO HQ on 2nd April, email notifying successful cashback late late week, BACS received today! :j
Yes it's 20 days late, but they paid up without issues so happy days! :rotfl:
I did try to chase it up, but they got confused with my account so technically they appeared to have done it without any chasing. :T
Hopefully my own second and final cashback will be fine too (but that's the one that was running about a month late at my last estimate.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
Sorry, I don't get your point.
Keep on top of things, chase when you feel you have to and it seems you'll usually get your money (it seems only those that are unfairly rejected are having to go to the SCC?).
I've not had to resort to threats of the SCC with this lot like I did with Mobileshop; you appear to avocate it a lot quicker?Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
Kind of, but you are taking the view that you need to go to the SCC; (I hope I don't live to rue this but) to date I haven't.
In a nutshell, it seems you are saying take them to court early because if you leave it and have to later, it will be more complicated?Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
Could you be so kind as to keep us posted on how that works?
What's the procedure: do you amend your existing claims with MCOL/SSC or do you withdraw them and file a new claim for just your two lots of costs (plus the costs of filing the new claim, too!) ?
I'm sure 4HM (and others) would like to know, as well!
My 2 court actions against TMO have prompted them to make the 2 cashback payments they initially rejected (on 2 separate contracts). As I said earlier I'm going through with the action as I need to recover the court fees (and to be honest I'd rather have the full years cashback in one go).
The problem is that TMO have disputed the whole amount I have claimed on one of my actions and it looks like I might get my day in court. I had claimed the full years cashback, plus the cost of sending my 'Letter Of Action', and the online process automatically included the £50 court fees in the amount. I can't really see what they can dispute0 -
I'm still watching this thread with quiet interest. I am on around the same claim shedule as BrendaY, albeit a couple of weeks behind her. My second claim has been lodged with bills 5,6, and 7, signed for at TMO's end on I think the 9th of May. So far nothing further to report, but I'm not stressing. MY first claim took a quick reminder e-mail to TMO, we'll see what happens this time...........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

Hi,
Been reading through these threads for a good hour, thanks to all who have contributed.
I submitted my first cashback claim to them and was completed successfully with no hassle.
however, upon sending my second claim it turns out i was a few days late and have recieved the rejection letter.
Is there any way i can get any cashback anyway through any means? as their admin office is so dis organised is there any way around this:mad:0 -

Brenda, I still don't get it, where's this new found venom come from?
From initially asking for advice to now suddenly advocating the SCC at the earliest opportunity, dragging Mar< back in along the way?
I don't want this thread to get heated as it did before so I won't go further into 'debate' over the merits of the SCC route over waiting for casback which has (for me at least) come without need for the former; we've covered it all before.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
hi guys...need some advice re: TMO...but apologies if this is a rehash of what's been discussed in the earlier posts
i've just been thru TMO's T&Cs and i've read the bit about how to claim your cashbacks....the interesting bit i've noticed (and correct me if i'm wrong here) is that they never explicitly state the need for the customer to submit ORIGINAL POSTAL bills for cashback claims; these are just plainly referred to as "bills". i'm assuming (again, correct me if i'm wrong) that ONLINE print-out bills (legitimate ones nonetheless) will be sufficient for these current T&Cs?
of course to just go ahead and try it on with TMO based on this hunch of mine would be foolish and probably futile too...that's y i thought i'd seek the opinion of existing customers and perhaps the odd legal eagle who happens to source his/her mobile phone from TMO as well?
many thanks in advance!0 -
Well I had 2 emails yesterday, the first stated that they had received my claim and the second said that I would be getting the money by BACS transfer in 7-10 days.
I'll update in 10 days then0
