    Hi
    Can anyone give me some advice, see post above. The 2 threads on TMO are very long and i cannot read through them all, if i follow the t&c's correctly will i get my money back if i claim from them or are they trying to rip people of, does anyone reccommend taking a contract out with them?
    Thanks

    So far we (my wife and I) have got our money without problems if with a few delays.

    That could change (but life is uncertain), but I don't envisage being out of pocket if any difficulties arise (court would be the last option but would work).

    The only thing I can see that would stop us getting our money is if the company went out of business, but that could happen with any company offering cashback.

    I'm very careful about recommending them though, I'd have recommended Mobileshop until recently, but they currently appear to be slower at delivering cashback than TMO; at the end of the day there will always be an element of risk! :)

    BrendaY's account is still there for all to see tho' 'Brenda':- BrendaY's Account, and has not been deleted. Just request a new password if you've forgotten it!

    I agree that Cobra is a "twerp" :). Very odd that he should try and successfully guess your simple password - the odds against that happening make it an astounding accomplishment. And for someone displaying such a lack of technical knowledge too!

    A strange coincidence that your use of language/ grammar etc are identical to Cobra's and BrendaY's deleted musings. I can understand the need to re-invent yourself, but when you start coming out with the same old clap trap that got you into hot water the last time, you can't expect the reasonable sensibilities of the rest of us not to be offended.

    Here we go with the same old space wasting claptrap. I myself will also report the off topic posts (mine as well as yours) in the correct form.

    Just an update for you all regarding my court action against TMO after they rejected my first claim on the grounds that I hadn't sent them a dispatch note, even when the Ts and Cs I received did not say to do so.

    They have filed a defense against my court action, in this defense they say that they had rejected the cashback due to an error on their part, they even acknowledge the fact that I wrote a 'letter of action' to them (they haven't referred to it as such), however they didn't respond to my letter within a reasonable time scale, in fact I haven't had any response to my letter from them. They have however, now paid the first cashback, but I need to recover my court costs.
    Will the fact that they didn't respond to my letter of action be enough for the court to judge in my favour ?

    Cashback 2/5 - Update

    Jeez this is getting confusing....
    Who is who on this thread now ??

    Anyhow, I'm still here, awaiting something from TMO for claim #2, TMO having received my second claim on 9 May. Only 20-ish days so far so not concerned yet.

    btw, is Brenda still Brenda, or BrendaY, or Cobra, or am I just losing the plot??

    ..oh, and nilomac, it's GunJack, not with a K in the middle..I almost took offence but decided on a gate and a small potting shed this time....

    Brenda = me, now :j (+lesson = learned) :o
    Cobra = somebody else. :question:

    (All = professionals, capable of writing decent English in any chosen style) :p

    Mar< = grayme-m ? :naughty:

    MSE = investigating my complaint. :search:

    Silence = while they're doing so. :shhh:

    TMO = laughing like hell, I imagine. :rotfl:

    GunJack = appreciated. :wave:

    My Cashback 2 = 5 days overdue. :sad:

    If I was mar<, (which I'm not :p), I've done a much better job of hiding that fact than you have of your aliases Cobra. :rotfl:

    They don't do vouchers; I'm not sure what being affiliated means?

    Someone from Carphone Warehouse told me TMO were a subidiary of CW, but we've discredited that one.
