Hi Rose
Have read your thread. Hang in there hun. You really need to speak to CCCS, if you don't feel up to speaking, email them. Your DMP needs sorting out as you don't have enough to live on.. Yes you have to pay back what you owe, but you also need to live too. So long as you are paying something to your creditors that is the main thing. You are facing up to your problems but that doesn't mean you have to live in fear and worry, just scraping by for the next umpteen years. Be totally honest with CCCS, they are there to help and won't tell you off for changing your budget. Being on a DMP should bring relief not stress. x0 -
Hello you,
I have been AWOL for a few weeks due to BT problems. I dont have time to catch up with your diary right now but wanted to check in on you to see if you are ok and having just read the previous post I'm guessing all is not well.
I will re iterate what Earth Mother has said although I know I have said similar in the past. You really should be getting some relief by now, not more stress.
Oh just spotted the link I will try and have a quick read this evening.

Thanks folks,
Mr BR has rung the CCCS now and they've adjusted some stuff including Mr BR's salary which had gone down by £20 in April and we hadn't noticed but we'd noticed in the budget! Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568

{{{Big hug}}} Rose, this must be so hard on you. Today's phone call should help though, as should your new thread.
I'm too tired to make much sense tonight but I hope you can soon get some sleep.Miggy

Sorry that you are having a hard time. I hope that you can sort it soon and come out the other side. The first few months are always hard going.

I mentioned to Mr BR last night that a couple of people had mentioned that it can take months (if not a year as someone also mentioned) to settle, feel sorted and get the right budget/dmp thing going. He said 'we shouldn't be so hard on ourselves then', although that's easier to say that do, isn't it?
All I want is a reasonably nice life with enough money so that we don't run out...Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568

Things I need to do -
1) work out how to get the up to date info mentioned above without Mr BR having to actually speak to anyone.
2) start looking at a possible PPI claim (which I keep saying I'm going to do)
One of the issues with both these things is that neither of out printers work so I have to ask him to do stuff at work which is less than ideal and sometimes he doesn't have time. Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568
