I realise you are a newbie but - search the forum then?! Posts are not going to find themselves unless you search.

If you search two simple keywords: 'nothing happened' in the 'search this forum' box then you get lots of info from other people who have seen it through! See below for explanation on how to do this.

Almost ALL of us regular posters have ignored loads of fake PCNs! I have ignored two. Nothing happened except the letters shown in the third from top thread; all you need to do is play a nice game of snap! And think about it - who do you think showed all those pictures of those letters in the third from top thread? That's right, they were posted by others who received the whole letter chain months or years ago and...nothing else happened.

To search this parking forum only (not the whole MSE forum!) just click once where my signature tells you (in the breadcrumb trail link at the top of the page). You will then see the whole current forum thread list including that third from top thread you need to look at when playing 'snap'.

But on the right of that index view you will also see the 'search this forum' heading above the threads...put your 2 keywords in and choose 'show posts' then click 'go'. I just had a peep and saw several where people had come back after several months to confirm nothing happened. We get people coming back every so often to post just that.

Bottom line: Please stop worrying about a scam akin to a series of phishing emails.

oh yee of little faith, i have a drawer full of loo paper from these clowns, lit last novembers bonfire with them and will do the same with november 2012 ones,, now what part of FAKE ticket/invoice do you not understand??? i know ur a newbie, but come on its a SCAM,,do you really think they will do court,, well your honour they aint paid my FAKE/SCAM invoice,,now stop panicking,relax,chill,feet up,glass of wine and dont let these scumbags affect your mental health,, this is how they work and hope you will cave in to their SCAM,,do not.rember only a PENALTY charge notice is legit, you have the FAKE one called a PARKING charge=fake/scam=con/fiddle=loo paper.there you go, jobs a real belter aint it.

Scenario 3: debt collector letters arrive - you ignore them.

You may have to ignore one or two phone calls from Beverley when she calls from Graham White Solicitors. Don't engage in any sort of dialogue, or they'll hound you for longer.

And No. Today's change in the law doesn't change the situation significantly.
And Yes. I too followed the ignore advice successfully through all stages.

Why should I worry? They wanna get heavy with me, I'll them them straight where to go, and if they wish to waste their own money arguing it's their choice.

This is to ampasmps............i was like you very very worried, and thanks to all the guys on here, i ignored and ignored, and i can tell you honestly, nothing happens!! It has now been 9 months and i do not get any more communication from them!! Honest!

Thank you all, in reference to one poster I had searched the forum and I could find all the ignore posts but I could find anyone saying how long it took and didnt want to spend ages looking for a particular post that gave a timescale, also its natural to worry if you havnt been in this situation before and because I the car is registered with my mother the notice was sent to her and I don't want wanabe debt collectors knocking on her door. Thanks again for the posts of understanding and support especially bondylad as I know you've have repeated yourself so many times before and you dont patronise and Karen4444 for giving telling me how long it took to stop. Thanks

Through the DVLA, 192.com , electoral list, telephone book, credit reference agencies, or facebook. Companies like Roxburghe who are in fact Graham White really use whatever means they like to gain phone numbers.
