Ha Ha, that's funny!! It has put my mind at rest though...... I'll take your word for it, and try to forget about it this time!! Honest!!

    Thanks again.

Why the sad face and the use of the word 'fine' in your post?

By now you should just be laughing at the template scamogram letters that match our top thread 'PPC letters and threats'. You don't have to tell us about each letter when the letters are already there for you in pictures.

Just play 'PPC snap' with each matching letter just like we do! Some posters here have drawers full of these threatograms. I only have one fake PCN but it was from 4 years ago and I can assure you the advice already given is sound. Ignoring this con is just like deleting phishing emails, it's NOTHING.

Look at the letters in the top thread and watch the Watchdog video linked there.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • Thanks Karen! I am sure the sad face was just because you felt sorry that these pathetic would-be scammers have just wasted another stamp! £100 now, eh! Keep coming back! Remember, eventually you will get it down to £0.

I'm assuming the likes of Excel have a royal mail account so it's a shame they are not paying full-price for postage.

But then isn't it true with franked mail that you can pop it back into the post (unopened) and they will get charged for it again?
  • Someone did say that they have to pay to have it returned to them unopened. Not sure if that is right.
  • Thank you all for your comments.................. I have watched the video and looked at all the links, and it does make me feel better........just that I have never ignored anything like this before, and hope you are right GIVE EM FA that I will eventually get it down to £00!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks again.

Don't know, but I like sending them bits of paper in an envelope marked "cheque enclosed" without a stamp, hoping they will be greedy enough to pay the excess.
  • Hey I do that too! Fun! Top of the pops was a debt collection agency that had a freepost address, though. Loist count of the empty envelopes I sent them.
