Why poke a stick in a hornets nest..you get stung...
ps over 74% of men who use the internet go to !!!!!! sites...so what it is not real life..
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
  • Do those of you who think viewing !!!!!! is Ok know what's out there these days. It's a good deal more than you'll find in most lads' mags as far as I’m aware. And you can find it free of charge too - and so can your sons, husbands, partners and fathers.

If you're a woman and you think you can excuse the men in your life for viewing !!!!!! I suggest you do a bit of research. I did some scouting around after discovering my partner had looked at !!!!!!. There’s some pretty unpleasant stuff out there these days, and it’s become mainstream – and you can find it free of charge. The pornographers and their consumers have moved on from frolicking naked ladies and 'standard' sex such as you might indulge in yourselves, believe me. Wise up. The commonly found scenes are of women being abused and looking like they’re loving it. It’s pretty sickening.

What also worries me about those here who make a kind of joke of !!!!!!, is that if we were discussing any other big money industry, thriving on exploitation ( and worse), another industry not known for conducting honest, fine, upstanding, ethical business, you'd be lambasting it left right and centre. Every man (and some women) has his price, it seems. Give him his sexual jollies and they'll be no (or fewer) questions asked.

I think you need to look at the wider issues of !!!!!!, viewing !!!!!!, and of the industry that creates it. !!!!!! causes harm in a number of ways. Wives feel betrayed and hurt. Marriages break down. There's the risk of !!!!!! addiction. What about human trafficking into sex slavery - it happens. The !!!!!! industry is global and some countries have lower ethical standards than we do, but you can see the products of their business anywhere in the world now. What about the lies and subterfuge within relationships, usually the man trying to hide his !!!!!! from his woman. Younger men and women are growing up with odd ideas about what constitutes a sex life.

The pros: it can educate people or help couples to enjoy sex more just don't really cut it as great excuses for supporting pornography. Ans as for the 'all men do it approach. Well. How does that make it acceptable? There is much more to this issue than an innocent *&*& when the wife's in bed.

Do some research. Find out what your men are looking at in their droves now, flocking to free videos at the flick of a mouse, getting a taste for more and more, wilder and wilder. It's called desensitization.

Here are a couple of quotes that sum up most !!!!!! that is readily available online now, It's from a paper I found, entitled

Enough is Enough: Just Harmless fun? Understanding the Impact of Pornography. Authors: Bruce Watson and Shyla Rae Welch.

It's available online in pdf. Google it.

"Pornography presents women in stereotype, as insatiable sex machines to accommodate
every possible sexual request. Women, it tells us, are here to please men, and if they say no
    , it
is just token resistance. In pornography, the typical woman is always ready, available, and eager
to please, unlike a real woman who might have inconvenient expectations of her own."

    Also from the same paper

"In our society, the learning of sexual techniques and attitudes is too often left to chance,
which may include such sources as X-rated video shops. As a result, a great number of people
acquire faulty information and expectations that can impair their sexual enjoyment and
adequacy. The message of pornography is that sex is the only human activity where there is
no such thing as a poor choice, and where there are no consequences to actions."

We need to think more about this. It isn't good enough to accept that most men (and some women) view !!!!!! , so that, somehow, makes it OK and normal.

I don't think it does. And the prospect of a fleeting sexual release isn’t a good enough reason to support the !!!!!! industry.

I agree with this. I work with young people, and boy, do they (particularly young men) have some weird ideas.

Young women in their early teens thinking they need to get rid of all their pubic hair, be thin, and have plastic surgery/"designer vaginas" to be found attractive

Young men thinking they have to "perform" be a certain size and shape, be the master in the bedroom.....and thinking that women won't have any sexual desires of their own beyond the man's pleasure.

Not to mention young people being sometimes traumatised by the things they see in !!!!!! (particularly some of the abusive stuff) but too afraid to admit they don't like it to their mates.

My boyfriend used to be an avid watcher, when he was younger. However, he admits that it was bad for his sex life, because real life never matched up. Real women are not always willing and ready at the same time as the man. Real sex can be messy on occasions - it's not always the sanitised, shaven version you see on the screen.

He stopped using it, because he felt that otherwise, he would never enjoy a real sex life and relationship - it was too easy to turn to the internet.
Car loan £4500 - paid off early July 2013
Personal loan £4000 - paid off early June 2013
Credit card debt of £400 remaining - nearly there!

Would those saying 'dinosaur' and 'troll' care to expand? I'm a bloke and I have to say I agree with most of this to some extent. I don't think it is all always harmful, there's still plenty of non abusive, what I would call 'normal' !!!!!! out there, and I don't think its fair to say that all women involved are trafficked and abused but, but I understand in the last few years the type of stuff out there has become much more extreme, and abuse does go on. I don't think !!!!!! 'usage' is necessarily harmful but it can hardly be construed as having a positive impact on society.

No doubt I'll now get some feminist banging on about empowerment of women etc etc...

!!!!!! has always been around but the harder stuff used to much more difficult to get hold off. The internet has certainly changed that.

As brokenlily says, it does distort young people's views of what they should look like and what they should be willing to do. The interviews with school children on the Channel 4 sex programmes showed that.
