As Beanielou says, we're a friendly bunch. I have only been on here since January but it has really helped popping on here every day. Even when I have not been doing well (seem to be doing lots of up and down!) it helps limit the damage. WIthout the board I think I would have given up but this keeps me sort of on track - if you have more willpower than me you will do great :D

Can you put me on hold for a few weeks please? I am going to try and be really good the next couple of weeks before I go away but I have had a really bad week (totm and birthday celebrations combined to too much over indulgence!) so don't want to look at the scales as I know they will give me a shock but my clothes are still looking good on me. Not sure if all this makes sense to you but psychologically don't want to see what's on the scales - want to have a good 2 weeks before I go away and then hopefully not do too much damage when I am away as I always eat more healthily and smaller quantities when it's hot.

I will still be on here and no doubt having my say, but just not being on the chart for a few weeks, and back at it properly in mid April.

    Hope that's ok.

Actually looking forward to a healthy eating day tomorrow after too much rubbish today (the fruit and veg yesterday went ok until the evening and then it went downhill - can't tell you what I then ate  )

Am also going back to the gym tomorrow after over a week away as not been feeling quite on form (probably due to all the rubbish that's passed my lips).

Right, after all my rambling, focus on tomorrow, and the next two weeks.

Good luck everyone with your weigh ins.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

thriftykatie we're being the same person again . . my weekend went off the rails too , but it's repairable. A few weeks off the scales can help too - I haven't weighed in for about a month now but I know that my weight has changed - even my boots are looser around the calves! And just go a picture back from Christmas taken of me and OH at posh do - and I can bear to look at it! I even like it!! Big improvement on the bridesmaid's pics from this time last year. Welcome to Mamaden, if you have a bit to lose i suggest scrolling bakc a few pages to see Sugg's story. He's made incredible progress and it's very inspirational.

    Hi all

Hi again Ciara - of course you're welcome to come back! And welcome Mamaden - do you want to join the 2 pound club? There's more information here.

I hope everyone had a good Mothers Day - DH and I took our mothers to a carvery for lunch, which was lovely, but I have to admit I did succumb to a pudding (and enjoyed it!) This week hasn't been a good one to start again, but I'm still motivated and determined, and next week should be easier.

Have a good week everyone, and good luck with everyone's weigh ins, tomorrow or whenever you do them. :D

  • well done looby, I've put on 1lb. Could have been a lot worse! feel sick after all that food at the weekend, so not a lot for me today!

    Hope everyone else does okay,

If you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.
  • Still the same for me, am pleased with that, I don't find losing weight easy and staying the same is better than putting it on. I've now upped my exercise so hopefully that should help.

    Morning all

Firstly welcome to mamaden and welcome back to ciara2712

Well done to Loopy-loo, big hug to bargainbabe and to Tallgirl Im sure you will take the right steps and get back on track.

The move is all done, boxes are still to be unpacked, But it was hard work on Saturday I was building beds and a wardrobe before changing at home and going straight to play rugby. Mrs Suggs and her dad were returning the van at the time :-) Back home moved some stuff then to see mummy suggs in Luton with my children.

Still yesterday I cooked for the 5 children, and then took my three home finally headed to the gym on the way home, believe me it was hard work, my thighs were sore :-( Got home at 9pm

So the vote from the NP jury in Boots was a loss of 2lb which to be honest is an unexpected happy result. It drops me through another stone barrier :-) 13lb to go till bikini time :rotfl:

No weigh in for me next week, I am going to Cardiff for the weekend with a couple of friends for the EDF rugby semi-finals, my first real drinking of the year! So the healthy living lifestyle (I do not diet! :-) )will go on suspension from Friday AM till Monday.

Hope you all have a good WI, and a good week.
