Must have been the weekend for setting thing on fire Jo - I put 2 crispbread into the toaster to warm through for 10 secs, except the doorbell rang and I went to get it. After that I went to the loo to be alarmed by the smoke alarm that the toaster was on fire. Flames around a foot high coming out of toaster. DH managed to get it turned off, lifted the toaster and threw it into the garden where he put out the fire. The cupboard above where it is sat is burnt, the walls and ceiling behind and above it are also black. We were very lucky. Moral of the story is - eat the crispbread cold

After that I managed to drop hot coal out of the fire when I was poking it and burnt a hole in the carpet - all in all not a good day.

Well done on all the weight losses - Suggs - is there no end to yours! How do you keep doing it! Well done :T

I don't trust myself so have not been anywhere that could cause me to look lovingly at food and want to eat it:D

I am going with my boys class to the London eye for their school day out on wednesday and I am already panicking as to what will I eat because I will be out for lunch:D I know I am going to take a tupperware full of fresh salad with tuna but will be surrounded by kids that are eating what I want to eat:rotfl: :rotfl:

I agree with you about not putting yourself in the way of temptation. Today I've baked some cakes for the first time since before Xmas, as I was in such a positive frame of mind I thought that DD and H deserved a treat for having put up with me these last few weeks. The only thing I can say about your trip on Wednesday is, I think that the antics of a load of school children having a day away from school will keep you more than occupied, how brave of you. As for that work colleague, well  , ignore her (I'm assuming it's a her) it could be jealousy, remember you've put in a lot of hard work and with the amount you've lost you must be looking a heck of a lot better!!

    Well done dawnydee :T

I haven`t read all the thread, way too many pages in just one sitting,But do you lot do the calorie counting or go by the fat intake?

If you calorie count then how much do you do less than the average 2000 cals a day?

Can you add up all your daily calories in one week and use it as a weekly calorie diet or would it have to be daily?
Some days I might only have 700 calories but make up for it the next day.

Hi I count calories and try to eat food with low saturated fat where possible. I think that to remain healthy you should eat between 1200-1500 calories a day depending on your starting weight and lose about 2 pounds a week.
