Hiya - yes you can just do Green days, they're the only option for vegetarians, and still result in weight loss.

    Morning Ladies and Suggs :D

Nile has Pm-d me and asked that I start a new thread as this one is getting too long. As I have done the honours the past few times does anyone else want to start the thread off? Nile will lock this one once the new thread is open. The new thread should have a link to this thread, the recipe collection and the 2lb weight loss club. I can do the links if someone wants to start the thread? Let me know, if not, I will start it this afternoon once you have all had a chance to read this.

Forgot that the clocks had gone forward today and woke up at 9am, which was really 10am. Kids were meant to be at Sunday School for 10 and I was meant to be in work for 8  Little blighters (ds in particular) knew what time it was and kept quiet :)

I've lost all motivation at the moment. Started a new job in Feb and thought this would be my 'fresh start' - new salary, new location, new outlook. But all ive done is go into town and pig out on Subway or other nasty foods.

I'm 22, 5"5 and weigh 14st 7lbs... I've lost only 7lbs since January :( I wanted to get to 11st by June but I dont think thats achievable now :(

Any tips? Suggestions? Motivation? ...I dont attend a slimming class at all as I cant afford one, but mum has all the SW books so we're trying to follow that one.

I'm a bit of a fussy eater and dont manage my time well so I need really quick lunch ideas that are simple to make.

    Thanks :)

Good afternoon all and what a lovely day - the sun is shining, it's very mild and I go on holiday in 84 hours (not that I'm counting mind you, lol).

Welcome to the newbies, there's no wonder the thread needs closing again - we keep growing and expanding (though, hopefully, not round the waistband). Honey if I knew what had to be done, I'd do it to save you the trouble.

Krayzechick there are lots of things you can make quite quickly that fit in with the SW plans, but one of the best (I think) is the pasta quiche.

Take a packet of Bachelor's Pasta 'n' Sauce; make up using water only; whisk in 3 large eggs and place in a flan/quiche tin in a medium oven for about 40 mins or until it sets and becomes golden on top.

This can be eaten hot or sliced and taken in a lunch box next day. It's very filling and is free on Green days.

There are other recipes you may like if you go to post 1 and follow the link.

Npsmama I lost over 4 stone only doing green days. It's nutritionall sound as long as you remember to vary your food as much as possible. In any case, if you stick with jacket potato and beans every lunch-time, for instance, the boredom will inevitably lead to you chucking it all in.

Bella4uk that's often the case - when you don't lose pounds you can still lose inches. Muscle weighs more than fat, but your body will become more streamlined!
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I had a whole artichoke for dinner (as well as the usual veg) it was absolutely lovely:j went on the internet found out how to cook it...2 inches of water covered with a garlic clove and bay leaf for 35/40 mins ,did not have the lemon butter or mayonnaise dip it is supposed to be served with just on its own and it was gorgeous...can't wait until tomorrow to have the other one! (got 2 huge ones off the veg market for £1!) made such a lovely change.... they are 0 points on WW aren't they consultant?:D

Well I had a bit of a fall off the wagon day today.

I weighed myself this morning and I now weigh 11 stone 10 which means a loss of 3lb!!! :T For my first week, I was chuffed.

My MIL had our little one for the day so we decided to do some work on the house and then go out for dinner. I worked my butt off in the garden for nearly 2 hours so it probably isn't that bad but we went for a carvery this afternoon and I stuffed myself silly :o I had 2 yorkshire puddings and a few roast potatoes, followed by the egg of an easter egg (which probably was the bit that pushed me over the points!). But I think I had saved up some points from earlier in the week so hopefully it won't be too bad.

I had a lovely day though - worked on the house until nearly 8.00pm because of the light nights! Oh how I love the summer! :T
