Hi Victory - you'd need to add something to thicken it, like cornflour, which is 3.5 syns per tablespoon. To avoid the cornflour going lumpy, add a small amount of cold water to it and mix to a paste, then pour in the hot liquid, and bring it back to the boil to thicken it.

    Morning All

Victory What are you doing up so early

Day one today - need to stick rigidly to it today and tomorrow cos havent had a good week. Currently enjoying a bowl of weetabix crunchy bran - its really nice and on SW you can have 42g as a HE(B)(instead of the usual 28g). Feels like a proper breakfast size potion!! Got lots of fruit in the market yesterdy so intend to enjoy it today too. I carried it from the market to work (a good 10min walk), then back to the car - which is back the way I started (uphill for approx 15min). I weighed it all when I got home - 8lb worth - to think I have lost nearly treble that! Thanks to whoever recommended doing that - think it was you Petrichor

Was planning on going to the gym this morning but DH has had to go to work, will call parents and see if they can help because I had myself all motivated to go.
Have a good weekend all xx

:rotfl: Victory :rotfl: I think i'd need liposuction now to be a size 8 after a baby your stomach muscles are never the same (not that i really had any before :D

Honey i might have to see if i can find that cereal i still have a shock when i actually weigh out 28g of cereal i feel like i'm receiving starvation rations!!! Good for you buying market fruit i always find it actually tastes so much nicer.

Lois you must be a mind reader i was just about to look up cornflour as i've got a nice recipe for sweet and sour chicken and that's about the only synable thing in it as far as i can see.

Really sunny today so i'm off to take ds to the park with a nice football for me to run after................well jog after........well...........i'll see! :D

Hi everyone, I'm just popping in to say that I'm managing to stay on course with mostly SW free food. Reading what every one is doing is a great help isn't it?

Just one problem though..... Weighed 14.8 on Thurs am..... jumped on the scales again yesterday morning (I know, I know.. not good practice) and there was 14.12 staring me in the face!!!!

I have new electronic scales that have a 'memory button' to log the weight and also give the losses/gains of different users. On Thurs I used the memory button for person 1, so I can get the buzz of a loss(?) next Thurs but yesterday I just jumped on and got this heavier reading. Jumped on this morning (OK OK OK I know!!!)again with no memory button and am 14.10.

Any one know anything about these scales? Do you think next Thurs they will behave differently when I use the memory button?

I suppose only time will tell........... watch this space.
