Ollarbabe If you are not interested in losing weight why come on here just to say nasty, uncalled for things and annoy people???
  • Hi could I join please?

I have about 4 stone to lose. I have an underactive thyroid which seems to finally be at the right level according to the doctor so hopefully weightloss will be easier now. Been doing all the right things for years now (walking between between 3 and 5 miles everyday, eating healthily, cut out choccie and cakes etc) but hasn't worked just kept putting more on:eek: but now I know it's my thyroid and it seems to be under control I can start trying extra hard.

Anyone else have a thyroid problem?

I've just bought a juicer which should be here by Monday so I am now on a health kick!! Need to eat as much good stuff as possible as they think I may have ms (waiting for lots of tests) so am doing all I can to get healthy.

    Need your support!! PLEASE;)

    HELP NEED PLEASE

Hi I have been going to Slimming World for 8 weeks now, I only have 16lbs to lose and have lost 10 lbs so far.

Going with my friend who has loads to lose 10 stone + she is doing well and has already lost nearly 2 1/2 stone.

Want to keep going for her, but I was good last week and did not lose a thing.

MY hubbie is having same meals as me, he needs to lose 3 stone- been doing green days- but hubbie is starting to complain about all the quorn and veg we are eating, on a budget of course.

Can any one recomend cheap `red day` meals?
    April Grocery challange £175

    Spent week 1 £29.90
    week 2 £62.64, TOTAL £92.54

I am not on the red and green days but cannot recommend highly enough either the WW or SW mags or this website that has loads and loads of low fat meals....there has to be something on there that you like:D

    Hi

Just in from my cake decorating class and I'm tired. Made 54  fairy cakes this afternoon, iced them and decorated with glace cherry to represent "red nose" for DS and DD class in school :A Bonus points or what :rotfl:

Blimey Honey, I didn't realise you did cake decorating, no wonder you stayed the same for so long, you really are a martyr to our cause (bordering on masochism :D ) I hope your little people appreciate your effort.

    Hi all
I have the thread open in two separate browsers, then while I'm writing a reply on one thread, I go to the other thread, click on quote in the message I want to reply to, then edit, copy and paste the quote from one thread to another. hmmm, just re-read that and I'm not sure if it makes sense..!

Wooo Hoooo :j :j I've done it.... Thanks Lois.... The world is now my oyster, today the LW Thread, tomorrow the world!!!!!!!!!!!  If I get too carried away peeps it's all Lois's fault :p

A big Hello to howdumbarewe!(speak for yourself I'm on a roll!!) and to swizzle, don't run away there are some sane folks here.

ps Can anyone give me a clue how to insert a moving smiley stored on my lappy, please? I've been on various sites and tried just about everything, but couldn't get it to work. I want to be ready whenever the next troll pays a visit. Thanks
Edit I think I've got it, I'll try it out later.
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

bargainbabe if chocolate is your downfall then I would recommend the cadburys melts. They are individually wrapped which tends to stop me snarfing down the whole packet. Each one is 3.5 syns on SW which is hardly anything - if you aren't doing SW then you are allowed up to 15 a day so you could in theory have 4 bars and still be good. They're great out of the fridge and you let them melt in your mouth. mmmmmmm.

here's a link for the csi fans

The first entry on the page is a CSI miami skit. It reallys needs sound to be funny. Weebl and Bob are very amusing anyway but can b a bit obscure and toilet focussed. This is genius.

I'm a big fan of the slow cooker too - you get the best lamb shanks ever out of them. It's also good for things like bolognaise - i make it up in the morning and then when it's ready for simmering bung it in the slow cooker all day. all you need to do when you get home is cook the pasta which helps prevent grazing whilst prepping meals. You get a beautifully tender whole chicken out of it too, but it does tend to disintegrate when you lift it out.

just nipped on to wish Suggs all the best for the big move in today  Hope all goes well

We are going out for dinner tonight, although typically DS got sent home from school with a sore ear. We rarely get out and every time we do one of the kids are sick and we either cancel or I spend the night feeling bad for leaving them. They are staying with my parents so hopefully will be ok. Lots of calpol:p
