OH is having to start work early this week and left this morning at 5.15, I find it impossible to get back to sleep so housework is getting done indecently early.

I like that web site Victory, thanks, I've put it in my favourites, it's full of good suggestions and like a lot of of ideas they are just common sense and obvious, but only when they've been stated by someone else :o . By the way your post last weekend was very good you certainly worked hard motivating everyone over what can be the worst time of the week for breaking even the strongest wills.

As OH is home early this week we decided to take my mother out or a meal late yesterday afternoon, as an early MD treat. She can't eat a three course meal, so we all just had a main course which was ideal for me too. I had stuffed aubergine with a tomato and tarragon (I think) sauce, and it was superb. A bowl of seasoned wedges was returned untouched, a magnificent feat for me and a real sense of achievement.

I was pleased to see Honey had a good loss this week :T , I hope the added gym work helps you with another next week. It's surprising what 1.5lb can do for your perking up a flagging spirit.

Connie, I was sorry to read that you are 'going on hold' but I can see your point. Keep letting us have the benefit of your wisdom, I have you to thank for not letting me give up on myself;) . I'd like to say that I'm not jealous of you going to NY for a holiday, but I can't because I am :D

Well done to the rest of you who have lost this week, and an even bigger well done to those of you who didn't lose but keep on going :j

I lost 2.5lbs this week :j so I have re-lost my 1 stone and just over now (had a small gain and a maintain for the last 2 weeks). Just started doing an exercise dvd and going to try swimming once a week if I can find time to fit it in! Only 16.5 lbs to go til my first mini-target!
    Goal weight....lighter than when I started :D

    Hi Everyone

By the way Retirdelady was quick off the mark about her declaration of love, faster than a rat out a drain pipe :rotfl: must be all the gym work paying off.

It is surprising what a little excercise will do isn't it? ;)

Well done Gpuk - great results :T

Petrichor -- you can come and clean my house any morning if you like :D

Went to the gym again last night, I actually enjoyed it too  It didnt seem as hard work last night although I am a bit sore today. Its interval training which only lasts 30mins and its easy to fit in. I have become a bit of a couch potato of late and although I wanted to get up and do something I also didn't want to miss the soaps! I managed to fit in 30mins at the gym, have my tea and still be sitting down in time for Corrie. Just goes to show you can fit things in when you try and I would recommend it to anyone who is like me (lazy!)

Suggs thanks for the post you have inspired me loads, as I really have lost the plot on the diet lately but life has been a bit hectic and up and down, i bought those adios tablets last week but all they seem to do is make me go to the loo more, do you lose weight on them by sprinting to the loo?

petrichor you're post really made me smile. Don't keep disappearing. Feeling extremely proud of myself as I just presented to a big client for the first time since my boss left. I noty only did all the marketing( my job!) but sorted out all the sales type stuff too! The chairman is v pleased and I only ate 3 aero bubbles and 1 biscuit!!!!! RESULT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mmmm, buttered toast. Suggs if you're going to fall off the wagon, I reckon it's best to crash off and break all your arms and legs. You'll be back next week with another loss and we'll all continue to worship you. does Mrs Suggs know you have an online harem? some women can be funny about that . . . . . .
  • not having a good week. Choc is being my downfall and it is totm but that is no excuse. I hang my head in shame and will try harder tomorrow.

Well done to those who can do this full stop. I wish I had more willpower!
