Beanie - when you are typing a quick reply you either click on the B which is jsut above where you type and insert the text you want in bold, or you can highlight the text you want in bold then click on the B. Either way the text that you are typing will have at the front of it and [ /B] after it

Does that make sense. A quick way to Quote someone is the copy the text that you want to copy, and then in front of it type [ QUOTE= username] obviosuly put their user name -eg Honey28 - then after the text type [/QUOTE]

Clear as mud - I'm not very good at explaining, sorry!

EDIT: all the bits in [] should be capital letters, every time I do it in caps it quotes me!

Can I join you all, please?

Got mega shed loads of weight to lose - sort of like having loads of debt to repay.

I don't want to set a target, if pushed, then I would say to get to goal in two year's time, probably a realistic goal as I have about 10 stone to lose

I'm not following a diet as such, been there done that - in fact probably done them all. Instead, hand in hand with trying to reduce our debts and as part and parcel of working out a proper menu then there won't be any money for "extras". Except, of course, having said that I am having lunch with my mum tomorrow (and she's bound to notice that I haven't lost any weight since she saw a month ago, and in fact have put on) and then DH and I are going out for the day on Sunday.

I managed to fit in 30mins at the gym, have my tea and still be sitting down in time for Corrie. Just goes to show you can fit things in when you try and I would recommend it to anyone who is like me (lazy!)

You could look for a gym which has individual TV screens on the cardio equipment as it does in mine. I actually time my visits to coincide with the soaps - makes the time pass quicker on the cross trainers and treadmill, and I have even been known to do extra so I don't miss the end of the programme! Trying to time it so I can do cardio whilst watching soaps and do my weights programme without missing something is a bit more tricky though :D
Proud to be dealing with my debts

    Morning All

Didn't get up until 5.20 today, had a lie in :D

Tried to post a relevant reply to that 'helpful' post from ollarbabe but the image didn't come out as I hoped so I deleted the post.

I must get more techie in these matters!!!!

Thanks Lois for the info, will try it out later, but with my abilities it might take some time. I also noted that in my post about the clothes I meant to say that the ZIPS were grinning (much like these:D :D:D ) and not GRIPS.

Welcome to Frugal Fox and Mindy, don't bother about setting huge targets, on here at the moment some of us have set ourselves a 5lb target by April, it may seem small stuff, but over the months these really build up, the time flies and I've found that it has kept me very much on track.

This was supposed to be a quick visit, but is it a new series of House, I do hope so, when is it on? By the way I bags Chase :o

Will be back later with a more relevant post

Don't put so much food down your throats.....it's really easy.

That was pointless, uncalled for and unpleasant. We don't need people like you butting in on our board thank you

Hi and welcome to Mindy and FrugalFox. If you want some new ideas for food, there's a recipe thread which you can access by going to post 1 and following the link.

Mindy, there's no need to feel pushed into setting a target weight. Some people thrive on having a goal, but many more just plod along and decide when they look in the mirror one day and like what they see.

Frugal if you get chocolates from your little one, eat and enjoy on Sunday then count Monday as your Day 1 (how old is he/she?)

Jojilufc to get the ½ sign, hold down the Alt key and type 0189 on the number keypad with the Num Lock on (don't ask me how I know this :rotfl: ) it also works for ¼ and ¾, using 0188 and 0190. I love daft bits of trivia like this, I'm very sad :rotfl:

Loopyloo, I'm chuckling to myself cos when I read your post, my brain obviously didn't process the words "laptop and telly" properly and gave me "lapdance and belly" which conjured up a whole new way of exercising :rotfl:

Lois, I tried what you said about having 2 threads open and copying and pasting (I've often wondered how to quote several people on one post) but it doesn't allow me to copy and paste  . Would try Honey's way, but can't do the square brackets (that's probably dead easy too, but I'm still a novice with computers!)

BargainBabe no-one is Superwoman (though we do have the next best thing to Superman on here :D ) and there are very few people who lose weight easily. It's very hard to break bad habits and that's what we have to do. Don't put yourself down - every time you overcome a problem, you've added to your tools for "fighting the fat" and that's a good thing. Keep trying and you'll get there eventually!
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I think, judging by the number of helpful posts ollarbabe (click on her name, then click on find more posts....) posted last night, that someone was not quite themselves.

Anyway I reported it anyway, as I dont find posts like constructive or helpful.

Hi Honey, Im still here :) cant get rid of me, just yet.

By getting the love nest ready, do you mean, going to Ikea, (two bookcases and a computer desk) having a plumber in all week refitting the bathroom, B&Q one evening, going to the gym everyday, then yes your right, I am preparing the love nest :T tomorrows the day, I have to clear some room in the garage as well :) Hope your enjoying the gym yourself :)

Consultant - the square brackets thingys (technical term) are normallly on the keyboard next to the 'p' ?

Right back to geting ready for the dentist :(

It is not easy whatsoever....we are here to support each other and find out tips/help/low fat cooking suggestions and to have the moral support of each other through this hard time.....which it is HARD....... so please refrain from making it even more difficult with comments like that:mad:
