Crocs- i have two sizes!! They both fit ok.
If this makes sense your feet are not meant to touch the side of the crocs when you walk in them.I've got the original ones that you can wear with strap round back of ankle or forward over front of shoes.
Im not wearing mine at the mo as a bit cold for them for me but am looking forward to wearing them again. They are so so coomfy(sp?).

ps- does anyone know why eating fresh pinapple really hurts my mouth??? i like to have it as a snack, but i find after a couple of slices my mouth stings!
    :(

    Google finds the answer:
    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20060706095929AAK3n0D

"The enzyme could be the culprit. By the way, it's called bromelain. Papain is from papayas. On the other hand, many fruits contain so-called lectins which bind to proteins in the mouth and cause irritation."

Anyways - with the pineapple, I think it works weight loss wise, I have noticed in the last week since I feel that the numbers2 are more and more frquerent (Sp) want to go more in the day. Okay mucky it may sound. But i find it stops the body from taking in the fat from the day and makes you want to flush is out quicky.

I like fresh pineapple and since I started the fruit watch I crave more fruit now. My fav is Plain/Cherry Yogurt with fresh pineapple chucks (lots!) I did see on Trevor McDonald tonight program a few weeks ago about a british women swapping the weekend with a women from France and learn about their eatin habits. Intersting note from the program that the british women switch and eaten fresh pineapple and yogurt for brekkie everyday and lost 20lbs in 6 weeks. Go figure :D

    thanks for the link mike.

I saw that program too, it was a bit embarrassing for british people as all she ate was chicken nuggets and rubbish and the french woman ate loads of veg etc. It made the british lady look awful (esp. when she asked how many calories were in pineapple as it tastes so sweet and the french lady was like..well...it's fruit...so it's not sweet from sugar, it's good for you!)

I think i am adopting some good habits now after watching shows like that, like buying fresh ingredients rather than prepackaged frozen stuff. I've found that by making everything from scratch i am more interested in my food and it's contents, i enjoy cooking it more, and i enjoy eating it more as it tastes better and i know it's good for me! :D
my housemates all laugh that i'm turning into a right little housewife, but they do so as they're warming up their frozen pizza and i just smile!!

    Boy oh Boy I'm stuffed!

    Evening All :D

Just had Consultants meatballs (thanks for the recipe) for dinner and I'm stuffed full. It was SW recipes all round tonight chez Honey. On Saturday's I let the kids pick what they want and I make it for them - its normally the only night that we all eat differently as I refuse to make different meals (I dont have the time to either). Anyway, DS wanted SW Smash Pizza, DD wanted SW chips and I had SW meatballs (modified slightly) aren't they well trained :rotfl: DH opted to make his own so I have left him to it!

For those who do SW, I have switched this week and have done a lot of red days. I definately feel much much less bloated, although sometimes I struggle to decide what I can eat and normally end up with scrambled egg and bacon!

    B: Porridge (HEA&B)
L: Scrambled egg, bacon, plum tomatoes, 2 slices nimble
Snacks: whole packed of cooked mini chicken fillets ( red days are expensive :D)Muller light, strawberries, orange
    D: Meat balls

Feeling very virtuous - but only because I have to be after eating a whole Belfast bap yesterday - for those who dont know (where is DellyBelly ) its a large white crusty bread bap - I had bought it for DH but he annoyed me by working late, meaning I had to take DS to swimming lessons again - so I ate it - that'll teach him :rotfl:

Hope you are all having a good weekend. I got lots of gardening done today but I believe the forcast for tomorrow is horrendous

Edit: Has Anyone heard from Rachelmk - its been a while since she posted

No problems katmad (you got cats?) - the key was the bromelain in pineapple, that also breaks down stuff in the guts to make you "go" - you wanna run to the loo! But it hurts in the mouth, one thing I noticed with pineapple (other than the no2's) is that my mouth food tastes bitter/metalic afterwards!

Tis true what you said about having a more "active" insterest in your foods, i am going though this now - made a pact that if I am cooking I add a spice/herb in every meal. In fact I am changing the kitchen by taking out the storage unit (big metal thing) and putting in floating shelves in, these shelves will contain the fruit bowl (see it when you go out of the door everytime) also spices/herbs/hanging garlic/ fresh herbs growing. Also brought alot of new spice pots so should be a interesting few weeks ahead.

I will post a photo in the coming weeks..

I've also put a ad on freecycle for a long mirror - visual reminders in the morning to lose weight :)

Oh I forgot, thanks for the warning sluggs about the binki outfit.. But I want to get sorted and get into a combat outfit for my hobby (tresure hunting - metal detector, walk miles on a good day)

    Hi peeps:D

Feeling fed up today, H insisted we went clothes shopping as a reward for loosing a stone and a half, didn't want to but went.... I can't believe I have not dropped a size.... nearly in tears in the shop when a 16 was tight and was not fitting....been an 18 on a stone and half more so imagined (especially as SW says 10 lb is a drop in dress size) that now a size 16 would be comfy but no:eek:

Got my head on of why? what is the point to this? Why can I not fit into this? etc H was fantastic with me, making all the right ohs and ahh and telling me it will come but why not already?

As for River Island and waiting patiently to buy finally their white jeans that I have had an eye on for yonks...no chance:o they are all hipsters and I do not have any hipsters, do not like hipsters, never worn them and even with the weight loss will never wear them:o

H wants me to take a day off as he says I have done this for nearly 9 weeks without a single break and he says I am beating myself up bad over it (how long it is taking, how I have not dropped a dress size, anaylizing everything that I eat and drink, etc) he says my body needs a break (or maybe his ears do:rotfl: :rotfl: )

I will maybe have the Mother's day off....

Morrisons are doing the green packet ryvita multi-grain crackers and the yellow packet sesame BOGOF , also the sugar free jellies in all the flavours BOGOF, tuna in spring water BOGOF, we got loads today...the kids will not go sugar free jelly less:rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hi peeps,

I haven't logged my weight this week. My class is on a Tuesday, but I couldn't go this week. A girl at my work also goes to weightwatchers and she couldn't go to her usual class so she persuaded me to go with her to one near our works on Thursday lunch. I gained 1.5lb. I am so gutted because I feel like I have took a backwards step.

Since 2nd Jan I had lost 8lb (got my silver seven), and now my loss is 6.5lb. I was expecting a gain as I had been treating myself (well, I took a week of dieting), I just thought I could get away with it. And I need to pick myself up again. Usually when I gain I tend to give up the whole diet and binge eat, but this time I have gone the opposite and I haven't been eating much this weekend, and I used the treadmill yday and today and I feel really depressed, okay I know a lot of you think its not a big gain but I feel like I have let myself down.

My problem is, apart from people at work I am surrounded by people who eat whatever they want because they don't gain weight easily and it drives me nuts! AND its my bro's birthday next saturday and my parents will probably do a big buffet style meal - I just can't say no when its in front of me.

    :(

When I did slimming world once I ate lots of fresh pineapple, then me and my friend bought one of those Tesco Gold pineapples - I had stomach cramps for a whole day and my friend got a mouth infection - something to do with the acid in them.

Don't upset yourselve Hun, everyone is different.

If that was me I would have brought that what you have tried on as a treat for you weight lost (I would ignore the 10lb/dress size drop!) and keep on trying it on every week/fortnight. When it fits nicely I would go out for the night and treat yourselve. Don't be too hard on yourselve :)

Thanks Mike, women are difficult to please:D

I just can't believe I have put all this effort into loosing half of the three stone I need to loose and still in the same size:eek:

I thought the weight loss would open up all the shops to me so I could be like a kid in a candy store but no..still heavy limited (in more ways than one:rotfl: :rotfl: )
