Morning all
Missed my WI Monday morning as I had to drive to HQ. Been in London and only got back last night. Foodwise I don't think I have been too bad, had 1 glass of wine in London and two quite small ones last night as I felt sorry for myself having driven 450 miles in 2 days.
Off to Plymouth for a meeting tomorrow but it does not start until 11am so really tempted to leave early instead of tonight.
Disasater with my gym, pre booked Pilates MOnday and Wedsday this week but forgot to cancel Monday in time so might get charged now £5. Then as I made the call to cancel from some service station I have managed to loose my gym card another £5. More irritating I also cancelled tonights class but I if I dont leave tonight I could do it but bet it is full now. Aww why am I so disorganised.
Anyway too much ranting jsut to say well done to all the loosers this week hope to join you next week.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Morning All
Was going to post last night with my usual trivia but in view of the posts I decided to leave it until today.
Karren I hope that you are feeling a lot better this morning, there isn't much you can do except give support when necessary, a 'listening' ear is worth a lot at the right time.
In all my rush yesterday I misread your post dawnydee73, sorry it's a habit of mine, but your colleagues will regret their lack of commitment when you lose your weight, keep going and show them how to do it, keep the money that you would have paid every week and watch it mount up just for you
All the rushing meant that I couldn't find the meatball recipe, I got the recipe lists etc so I know that it's just me being stupid, instead I went to the SW site and used a variation of the one there for Goulash Meatballs, and very nice too according to my family but I decided not to partake....
..... When I noticed on Lois's list that I still have 1.8lb to reach next Moday's 5lb target loss (I thought it should have been 1.6lb still to go but then realised that I was wrong - again). Even though I lost 1.8lb on Monday I doubt if I can do that again this week but I've decided to give it my best, so I had a small jacket potato, tuna and salad instead.
Consultant, Yes DD is indeed TRH (and very trying at times!) I got a tad carried away with that particular post :rotfl: but I can dream can't I, however my 4 bagsies still stand. I was sorry to read about the bridesmaid dress being the wrong one, what a shock but at least you still have a while to go so everything should be sorted out in time; also don't worry about your gain, remember you went through a lousy couple of weeks.
xxxx
ps Re Grissom last night - what's up with him, I thought he'd had his hearing problem sorted - poor baby xI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Hi all
Just been out to empty the bin and noticed by the side of the wheely bin there was a rather wet looking jiffy bag. Opened it and it was from my boss at work. A lovely box of Thorntons Chocolates with a nice saying happy valentines day. Really nice thing to get from your employer but NOT WHEN YOU ARE ON A DIET:mad:
So now its sitting on the table looking at me and I don't know what to do. I can't throw it out, DH does not like post chocolates so thats no good.
Just about to have to lunch so will think about it then in the meantime please give me strength to avoid them.Save £12k in 25 No 49

look at the ballet dancers tallgirl, that'll help! glad to have made you smile victory, hope you are feeling better.
Planning a trip to the cinema tonight and going to treat myself to some syns. popcorn is 5.5 for 28g - is that a lot of popcorn or a tiny bit? Or should i just hit the maltesers? Off to see Hot Fuzz hich should be a laugh. BTW I made the turkey and mushroom stroganoff from the Christmas SW mag last night and it was lovely. Used turkey thigh so it was really cheap as well.0 -

Sorry to hear about your friend Karren, and your BIL Victory. As consultant says there is nothing that any of can say to change things, but continue to be strong for them and my thoughts are with you both. Well done on the 1lb loss Karren :T and also to Keater on your weight loss too
Consultant - has the bridesmaid dress been sorted? What a nightmare at what is already a stressful time. Oh, and dont worry about your gain, you lost so much when you were sick its no wonder some had to go back on.
Welcome Mleonard - I've no experience of the tesco diets, I'm sure someone on here at one time was following it - but your mum is very welcome to join our little (well, big!) slimming group on here. Its free and we dont charge if you miss a week
Tallgirl - dont eat the chocs, you will regret it later. Save your treats for another glass of wine, I know you enjoy having a glass. Give the chocs to a neighbour, or a colleague, or parents or inlaws maybe?
Love the pic Victory - why is it always the people who shouldn't wear things that do :rotfl:
ok, hope I havent missed anyone, sorry if I have.
Katie - was it you who talked about a new cereal that you could have 42g as a healthy extra B? If it was, what was the cerealI've searched through Lose weight 9 but cant see it.
I've discovered that from the time I get the kids home from school to dinner time is my "vunerable" time when I get peckish and start to nibble. I got round this yday by opening a tin of baked beans and eating them around 4pm - kept me going until dinner time and stopped me nibbling. I have just had 28g of bran flakes to use up my HEB and HEA and that will keep me going until DH is home and we have dinner. Don't know why I didnt think of this sooner [inserts slapping head shouting DOH smiley]
Fried egg, chips and beans for tea tonight. Can't wait0
