Can I join this thread, I need the motivation. I want to lose 20lb's and started a diet last week, weighed myself tonight and I've lost 2lb :j

At work we were doing our own slimmimg club, you pay a pound every week and the one who loses the most at the end of the month gets the money. However I had last week off, gone back today and its been cancelled cause no one could stick to their diets.

I know if I do a diet on my own its harder to stick to and I think this thread is great how everyone supports and advises each other

    Hi all

Well done to everyone who's lost weight this week, even if it's only half a pound (Honey ;)).

There are two Slimmers of the Week this week, both having lost 5lbs, which is excellent, well done to Bargain babe and Mel! :T

And congratulations to Suggs and Retired Lady for achieving their goal for this month. :j

I'll do an update on Wednesday. If I've missed you please let me know.

    Have a good week. :D

I was proud to post my 1 stone weight loss last week, only thins week ive put on 4llbs     either that or my scales are wrong. Ive not eaten any more although I did eat at a childs Bday party on Sat so that was party food.
Altough im having my 1st period for 3 years (sorry any men reading) I had my DD in 2004 and aunt flos never been since
2 months ago I was diagnosed with polysistic ovaries hence no periods. W e would like more children hence the diet to loose weight. So something good must be happening inside me even if its making me gain weight:confused:
So im all upset about the weight loss thats not been lost.
I hope you al have a better week than me. Im sticking to 1200 cals a day this week and am cutting back on fruit majorily incase its that. I am adicted to Alsis tinned tropical fruit cocktail.
Good luck to all for the week
2007 is my getting slim year
Total weight loss so far is 16llbs:T
    Total to go 15 pounds:eek:
Not no more as im having a baby:D
  • Bit late tonight and no time to catch up on all the posts but will do so tomorrow. Decided to get weighed and face the consequences - I had actually stayed the same and am thrilled!

Then felt very motivated, having had a good day food wise and finding out the damage from last week wasn't too bad, so spent 4o minutes doing my weights programme and an hour on the cross trainer.

Have loads of energy and been doing work and chores since I got in. Now really need my bed.

Well done all of you who lost weight this week - hope I will be joining you next week!
Proud to be dealing with my debts

    Another late post!

Lost 3lb this week. I was anticipating a gain as I went away last week, but I caught a 24hr sickness bug, so the loss is a large part down to that. Nonetheless, I have stuck religiously to my slimfast plan, and am determined to keep the kick-start going (if I can)!

Congratulations to the losers and maintainers, and for those that gained, tomorrow is another day.

I was back in the gym today after a week off, and feel much happier knowing I'm getting my exercise again.

    Here's to a successful week everyone.

  • I go and lose 5lbs and then have a really bad day where I shovel some choc into my big mouth!!! What is wrong with me? I felt really guilty and then woke up a big spot - on my nose!!!! thats karma for you.

Anyway guys, well done to the losers, maintainers and big hugs to those who are disapointed. Im back on track today, take care all Bb xx

On a brighter note, some of you will remember I had a problem with the seating in a theatre I went to in London a little while ago? This week we went and saw The Blue Man Group in London (they were fab by the way), and I fitted into the seat!:j :j
It was a little snug mind you - but I did fit in!!:T :j

I saw the Blue Man Group last summer, and those seats are not the biggest in the world anyway, so well done you retiredlady, I found them snug too :T

I have 'Rods 'n' Cones' and 'Time to Start' on my mp3 player, great music to workout to in the gym :)
