hello again and morning all,
I've just weighed myself (again!!) and I have lost 5lbs this week!! Will only be weighing myself once a week from now on - I will resist the urge as it doesnt change that much - I know!
I am really pleased even though I know its probably water but i'll keep going.
girls - I had my coil removed last year, I tried losing weight whilst having one and never lost more than 1lb a week - even the first week - so maybe it could be a help not having one - I've no idea but it would be good if thats the case, maybe I'll be able to lose more weight quicker than before!
Have a good monday and hope we are all losers!!

Morning all.
Good week today I've lost 2lbs, I think I'm on the right track now. Basically gym gym gym. That's what works for me anyway. Very pleased as it takes me below the stone mark so now I'm can say I'm something 13. If you know what I mean.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Victory hope you feel better soon
My boyfriend is taking total control over what I eat this week. I've handed him the slimming world magazine 7 day plan and being a typical man he loves precise instructions so there'll be no deviation. Should be interesting.
ETA: Just been updating my chart, and I've realised I've actually lost 3lbs this week0 -
Well done freebiehunter on loosing half a stone
Bargain babe that is an amazing loss.
Edinew 3lbs wow
Victory hope you are still on the mend

Morning All
Hope all is well with you Victory
Well done to Bargain babe and Edinew on your losses, long may they continue
Usual trip to Boots this morning in my tshirt, lost 1lb for the second week running, making 12lb since January 8th :j Oddly enough the ticket says I lost 0.8Kg which is nearer 2lb than 1lb, but seeing as I work in old money a 1lb loss it is.
Odd weekend really, my rugby match was cancelled, so watched the England game and then went to a 40th Birthday party, only drunk Diet coke all night, must have done at 6 pints of the stuff!! Spent yeaterday with Mrs Suggs sealing the new plaster in the study, ready for painting. Took ages!! So didnt go to the gym either. Guess I needed a weekend off.
I agree with you Edinew, Gym, Gym, Gym is the only way I can keep going too. Well Done on your efforts.
Busy day today, am off to a customer meeting soon, then aiming for the gym later.
Best of luck to you all.Proud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

I've lost 2 lb. Pleased with this - seems normal so less risk of regaining next week. (c.f. 'the week I lost 5lb', which was immediately followed by 'the week I gained 5lb'! )
Still not doing enough exercise but am soon moving house to where I can walk to work in an hour (it currently takes me an hour by bus). Am sure this will make a difference, not least because walking is one of the few kinds of exercise which doesn't make me hungry!
Ate badly on Saturday (main meal: pizza and chocolate cake, lots of wine) but then well on Sunday (roasted veg, steamed green beans and butter beans, bit of parmesan, an orange, some herbal tea) and felt so much better on Sunday. Dear me. You'd think I'd know by now.
Good luck all.0 -
Good morning all, fabulous weight losses, excellent work keep it up:j :j
I am not going to get weighed today as my ear hurts too much and I am feeling fed up and sorry for myself:D I have had to take all last week off work and today also so feel useless and silly to say that I have had that amount of time off work for an ear infection:D but oh the pain:eek:
It is def easing but it is such a long time since I felt 100% well I cannot remember it:rotfl: :rotfl:
Good luck to all the loosers, maintainers and gainers, to all of you it will work out in the end, the bikinis are calling us;)0 -
Good Afternoon All
Congratulations to all of you with those losses, I'm pleased to say that I've lost as well :j 1.8lbs :j I'm very happy with this even though it pales when compared to bargain babe's loss, well done! bb; and Suggs, only a tshirt!!
I hope that I have another week like the last, it makes me feel so much better when I lose 1(+) but as long as it's not a gain I shouldn't grumble although it's easy to forget that at times. I think the reason that I didn't feel hungry last week was because I was so occupied with other things, nothing major, quite trivial actually, so I shall just have to make sure that I keep my mind on other things.consultant31 wrote:Petrichor did you watch last night's CSI yet - it was very gory, but very good (as always). It's by far my favourite show, though I do like the Las Vegas one too. For some reason I really can't get on with CSI Miami though - the cast seem very wooden to me, specially the woman with long blonde hair - her expression never changes at all (aren't I !!!!!y, lol).
Yes wasn't it good (the gorier the better for me), I was a bit dubious when they first cast Gary Sinese but he's turned out to ideal. I like the Miami one, there's something about Horatio when he casually puts on his sunglasses and gazes into the distance with his hands on his hips; but I'm in complete agreement about the blonde woman, she is very wooden and the way she speaks!!!! it's so nasal that it gets right up mine:D However I agree with you that the Las Vegas one is best especially now that Grissom has shaved his beard off and he is such a good character. Better go now before I need a cold shower :rotfl:I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Hi everyone! Havn't posted much this week as I have been quite busy (exhausting myself at the gym!! :rotfl: )
I have lost 1 lb this week. I was a little disappointed with this so had a word with the SW consultant. When we went through what I had been eating she noted that I did eat a large amount of fruit. I was eating up to 15 portions a day
She advised me to cut it down to 5 portions of fruit a day. Hopefully this will give me better results next week!:D
On a brighter note, some of you will remember I had a problem with the seating in a theatre I went to in London a little while ago? This week we went and saw The Blue Man Group in London (they were fab by the way), and I fitted into the seat!:j :j
It was a little snug mind you - but I did fit in!!:T :j
Keep up the good work everyone!
