  • Hi turtle! Hope you're about unpacked and settled in now?

I bet Reuben loved his ice cream!

Well, looks like I might be getting G weighed on Thursday as the lazy monkey is still asleep! Can't bear to wake him as the house is a tip and I'm trying to get on top of the mess. Sure he'll survive without a weigh in for another day or two ;)

    Morning all :)

Had a horrible nights sleep, A kept tossing and turning, he slept ok though I didn't! I'm completely bunged up with snot though which didn't help. Having a lazy day in today, cold outside and been so busy the past few days. Weighed baby last night, he is now 19lb 2oz :) He'l be 10 months next week :( *sob* he is currently careering around the lounge with his walker, I cannot wait to see him with his Christmas presents, he is so good with his toys he has and plays with most of them often but some are getting too small for him I think. Xx

Gilly - hope you feel better soon. That's all you need after your stomach bug!

Turtlemoose - sorry I think I explained it wrong in my post! Doh!
DP's mate (who is fitting the detectors) can get them cheaper through the wholesalers then DP. He isn't very busy at the moment so can fit them today (for free) whereas DP is working long hours and weekends. So hasn't got the time to get them and fix.
    Xx

    Sammie ah I see :)

Katie, we are about half unpacked....but there's a lot of stuff still in boxes and the garage is full of stuff...but we're getting there!

Reuben has been trying to steal food left right and centre, and if he manages to get hold of something and you take it away....ohhh the strops!! He is 24 weeks, I wanted to wait until 26 but I think he's ready. So we have decided that when we eat dinner tonight we will have Reuben in his high chair and give him some food on his tray, see what he does :)

Sunshine i hope work and nursery are going well - must be hard for you.

    Hello ladies

Thanks for your lovely posts :)

First day done! This morning was awful, he screamed and I cried :( they rang me at 9 to say he was fine and had some porridge. I did call twice after just to see how he was and he was fine. Picked him up at 515 and he was so happy to see us!! He had cream potato and veg for luch and home made lasagna for tea with ice cream for pud!!! Aidens room ajoins a conservatory room where they move once they are walking, apparently they had the doors open today with a partition between and he loved standing staring at the bigger ones :)

Work was ok, I missed him so so much and atm would still rather I was home with him but it will get better.

Oh and he made us a painting! Its on my fridge.

Hes just fallen asleep on me so gonna have some tea and read back here later[/QUOTE)

    (( hugs )) sunshine xx

Glad it was ok in the end sunshine, hopefully tomorrow morning will be easier.

I've been meaning to ask - we've been sent a reminder from the nhs that G is ready for his next jab (pneunoccocal?) but I thought after the first three they didn't get any more til a year old? Or am I totally wrong as usual?! I'm getting him weighed tomorrow so will ask the hv but just curious if you've had the same thing at 6-7 months?

    Hi

No, we haven't had this or even heard of them x

Digs out red book to look at immunisations page 14

Katiechoc - PCV was given to Scott at 16 weeks along with some others. (pcv is also given at 8 weeks too). Refer to your red book
