Nutella - hope little one is still improving.

Sunshine - good luck for today, hope you managed to get up and out in time. ;)

I want to go back to bed already  having a bad morning so far, super stressed and kids are winding me up. Time for a "family meeting" tonight as I have had enough of feeling like a skivvy and no one showing me any respect.
    Xx

Oh no :( Hope having a chat helps, otherwise you could always go on strike for 24 hours - then they'd realise how much you do for them... :o

My LO is doing really well thanks - still no diarrhoea, so I think it'd be safe to say it's gone :D I made porridge for her this morning with oats, yoghurt, banana and blueberries and she loved it!

    Hi mozzy!! :)

Nutella - lucky girl, the porridge sounds loooovely!!

I'm hoping the chat does work but from now on I will lay down some ground rules. I do 99.9% of the housework including cleaning the car, cutting the grass and putting wheelie bins out each week. I don't mind doing all this but it's little things like leaving clothes on the floor instead of putting them in the laundry basket, leaving laptops/iPads/Nintendo DS's on the edge of the sofas where they can get knocked off. I just want people to take responsibility for their things, if Noah was bigger and could pull their computers off the sofa they would be moaning. Just drives me insane sometimes sorry for the rant.

That does sound frustrating :( Have you tried some kind of reward chart for the boys with stickers or stars and a treat if they stick to it? Otherwise I'm sure it won't be long before Noah joins Team Sammie and starts throwing things on the floor... ;)

The porridge was really easy - I made a double portion and mixed half of it with orange juice for a yummy smoothie for me :) I think it could become a breakfast staple! Just cook oats with water as you normally would to make porridge for yourself, then remove from the heat, mix in a couple of tablespoons of plain yoghurt, add some chopped banana and a handful of blueberries and whizz with a blender. Think I'll try raspberries next time as I know she likes them (or grated apple... or grated pear.. or...), and I might also whizz it less and less as time goes on to get her used to lumps :)

    Hi ladies

That porridge sounds yummy Nutella! Hope your hiccups have gone?!

Sammie hope you get some results from your talk.

I had been going to take him swimming today but today has been day 3 since his last poop and I decided I couldn't face an explosion while we were swimming so have left it. He's just done a huge one so I'm glad I didn't risk it! Think I'm going to go to the shops tomorrow and get a new tankini or costume for me so I don't feel quite so hideous on the walk between changing room and pool.

Nutella - hiccups hurt after a while!! At Least your little one got a laugh though.

Katiechoc - it's like the walk of shame getting in the pool! I hate it, I'm sure someone will harpoon me every time!

I have totally blitzed my house today so today is day 1 of the new rules :D I always keep the boys bedroom tidy too so they don't even have to do that themselves, maybe that's where I'm going wrong, people just expect me to do everything as I usually do.

Not sure what to cook for dinner.........................

That could be it, they've just got used to you doing everything so they don't realise they should be sorting it out themselves. My OH gets annoyed when I tidy up his stuff then forget where I put it - I don't do it on purpose but I'm always losing things! You'd think he'd learn that if he put it away himself he'd know where it was!

OH is off today so I tend to just wait til he gets hungry and he ends up doing tea early so I get the night off ;)
