Hello ladies
Thanks for your lovely posts
First day done! This morning was awful, he screamed and I criedthey rang me at 9 to say he was fine and had some porridge. I did call twice after just to see how he was and he was fine. Picked him up at 515 and he was so happy to see us!! He had cream potato and veg for luch and home made lasagna for tea with ice cream for pud!!! Aidens room ajoins a conservatory room where they move once they are walking, apparently they had the doors open today with a partition between and he loved standing staring at the bigger ones
Work was ok, I missed him so so much and atm would still rather I was home with him but it will get better.
Oh and he made us a painting! Its on my fridge.
Hes just fallen asleep on me so gonna have some tea and read back here laterLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

Glad Aiden was ok after he got upset.
I bet he will enjoy watching the "bigger boys". Noah loves watching the older babies at baby group.
Ahh I bet he had fun painting too.I'm sure your fridge will be full of them in no time!!

I had a chat with everyone after dinner and they have agreed to put ALL dirty clothes in the wash basket and put their things away. I told them I will bag up dirty clothes that aren't put in the wash and give then to the charity collectors, also if they leave their computers on the sofa/floor etc and Noah gets hold of them and drops it, tough luck!! Hopefully it will work.

Katiechoc - it's like the walk of shame getting in the pool! I hate it, I'm sure someone will harpoon me every time!
That's the big advantage of going to a parent and baby class - everyone's got wobbly tummies, too-small swimming costumes and messy hair. Even the dads :rotfl:0 -
Sammie, well done - hope they stick to it!
Sunshine, sorry to hear this morning was a bit rubbish, but glad he had a good day in the end. And yay for painting!
Katie, what a cunning plan - hope he cooked something nice!0 -

:rotfl: never thought of that!! I have to walk around the main pool to get to the baby pool and I always seem to turn up when it's lane swimming, mainly good looking, fit men!! I'm getting quite good at "sucking it all in"!!!!

My postnatal exercise class instructor says that sucking it all in (or 'zipping it up', as she says) is good for toning your tummy muscles, so keep doing that!Oh, and as you walk, cuddle Noah whilst he's casually wearing a hooded towel. It'll cover most of you without you looking like you're trying to hide!

Glad it was ok in the end sunshine, hopefully tomorrow morning will be easier.
I've been meaning to ask - we've been sent a reminder from the nhs that G is ready for his next jab (pneunoccocal?) but I thought after the first three they didn't get any more til a year old? Or am I totally wrong as usual?! I'm getting him weighed tomorrow so will ask the hv but just curious if you've had the same thing at 6-7 months?Newborn thread member

Hi Katie, we haven't had anything for anymore jabs and Aiden is 8 months?! I thought the next ones were when he is 1.
Would be interested to see what everyone else says?!
Packed the bags for tomorow so off to bed now. xxLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea
