Tooth #3 is en route. The gum has split, but tooth not quite out yet, tomorrow i reckon. That explains the crap nights and refusal to nap lately!!

Poor bubba, just wants milk and mummy :(

I am doing Weight Watchers at the moment. I managed to get a referral from my GP (as my BMI is currently high enough to qualify) and have been given vouchers so I can attend for 12 weeks for free. It is being paid for by the NHS. I had the choice of doing WW, SW or Rosemary Conley. I've done WW and SW in the past and both work but I find that WW gives a bit more freedom with what you can eat whilst on SW you can eat more in terms of quantity. I've been following the diet for 2 weeks and have lost 5lbs. Only another two and a half stone to go!

I've done Rosemary Conley in the past - lost 17 kg a few years ago, and then another 10kg after having LO last year. It's basically calorie counting though. When choosing which diet to go for, in addition to the likelihood of putting everything back on when you 'finish' your diet, I'd consider what your downfall is - the first time round, mine was simply sticking to something (anything!), so the weekly meetings and weigh-ins really helped with that as I knew someone else would be checking up on me, plus RC meetings also contain a 45 aerobic exercise session, which was good for me. After having LO, I didn't go to meetings, I just calorie counted and did lots of walking (an hour with the buggy every day). I now weigh a couple of kgs less than when I got pregnant, but still want to lose another 8kg or so. I'm now doing Diet Chef and really like it. My biggest issues right now are finding the time and energy to cook, and portion control. I'm not that bad at eating the right things, but I tend to eat way too much of it! Diet Chef helps on both fronts - all the food is pre-prepared so no cooking involved, and the portions are smaller than what I'd normally have (but I'm not hungry) so I'm hoping I'll be able to stick to smaller meals in the future too.

I'd go with whatever suits you best in terms of personality, willpower, family set-up etc. and then add lots of walking with the buggy (or - Sammie, walking to school!).

Would back up moneypenny 100% about SW. It's all about healthy cooking, family meals etc. it's definitely a way of life and something you could live by forever. Very easy to lose weight on it too :)

quick random question, is it ok if i breastfeed in doctors surgery waiting room?
...*reappears after vanishing for a while*

if you're in England and Wales it's illegal for anyone to stop you breastfeeding in public. Also in Scotland (different law).

Mr here has a habit of getting hungry just as the appointment time comes up so he's been fed twice in the doctor's surgery waiting room and also after his BCG injection at another clinic.
