After hearing you all raving on here about jumperoos, I've decided to get Theo one for Christmas. He's a wee bit young for it yet but he'll grow into it! I notice that there is either a Love U Zoo or Rainforest design. Which one do people have? Is one better than the other?0

Rainforest all the way!
they are the same though... lol x

can i jump in for a little bit
not yet ttc (january)
- but just wanted to know if anyone had done the nct antenatal classes?
plus- did anyone have a water birth? i love the idea of thisthanks!
We did a course of classes that were run by the NCT but were free as they were held at a local children's centre and funded by the council. I have mixed feelings about them to be honest. At the time I loved doing the classes and thought they were great. They had me really excited about what was to come. However, the problem was that the birth of my little boy and what happened afterwards re feeding etc didn't go to plan and I ended up feeling massively guilty for things not working out as I thought they "should" have. Looking back I think I was slightly brainwashed by the NCT's approach and I just couldn't let go of the guilty feelings for ages. That may just the kind of person that I am but I'd say keep an open mind about everything.
I really wanted a water birth but the pool was already in use when we got to hospital. Also, I left it far too long before going to hospital (NCT brainwashing again!) and it was really too late to get in the water anyway. I was disappointed because I'd have loved to try it.0 -
Rainforest here too! But not sure they're that different tbh. Good present choice - it's in fact a present for you too in that you'll finally be able to eat lunch and get a few things done round the house again
I'd say jumperoos are the best thing since sliced bread - in fact they're better.

Gilly, I cooked a SW meal for dinner tonight - made me think of you! How's the diet going? I'm getting a bit fed up with it now, have lost 12.5kg but motivation to keep going is starting to run low!...0

Evening ladies.
Boo to the end of mat leave sunshine. But glad he's settling into nursery so well.
Good luck with the reduced feeds Nutella. Pretty sure I'm in for a bad one again tonight - last night he had 4 feeds and I was up twice on top of that to put his dummy in. Think its a combo of tooth, travel cot and traffic noise as our room at mums overlooks the street.
Had a lovely day today - showed him off to mums chemo nurses at hospital then went into York for some shopping. Got this http://www.marksandspencer.com/Marks-and-Spencer-First-Xylophone/dp/B0037GQ4WW?ie=UTF8&ref=sr_1_2&nodeId=42966030&sr=1-2&qid=1353096270&pf_rd_r=129BAMFY42BNBMZ2CG9N&pf_rd_m=A2BO0OYVBKIQJM&pf_rd_t=301&pf_rd_i=0&pf_rd_p=321381407&pf_rd_s=center-3 for my gran to give him for crimbo, this for his crimbo day outfit http://www.boots.com/en/Mini-Newborn-Boy-Christmas-Three-Piece-Gift-Set_1269120/, some cute little shoes and a jumper with a sequin owl on for me.
