Probably not atm, we have no one to help with childcare and we really can't afford to pay £700+ a month out to a nursery. Hopefully in the next year or so we can think about it if everything goes to plan, but I refuse to go out to work for 40 hours a week for £200 a month after travelling expenses and child care. It's just a depressing thought. xThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Don't be so harsh on yourself gilly! I'm awful for snacking on biscuits since I started working at home. I need (seriously, need!) a biscuit with my cuppa when G is in bed and the washing ups done in the evening but that means having a whole pack lying around, and its too tempting! The only thing that'll work for me is a time release safe that would pop out 2 digestives at about 8pm each night!Newborn thread member

Oh gilly, dont feem bad about it. I am a bit like katie and have to have something sweet after my tea and as a little reward for when Aiden has gone to bed!!
I try and restrict myself in the day and snack on fruit etc, but if I fancy something I have a little bit of it otherwise Ill drive myself crazy thinking about it!
Try not to get depressed about not working etc. Do you feel like you need to work? I.e. not fullfilled etc? I am a little like that myself, but then atm would give anything to have an extra few months off with him. So I suppose the grass isnt always greener. Sometimes I think being a mum makes us our own worst enemy.
Are you still planning on moving closer to your family? What was your career pre baby? I am sure you could easily walk back into a job when the time comes.

Evening all
Had a lovely time and was only gone 2 hours!! I had a really nice time in the end as it was nice to not have to look after 3 kids whilst trying to eat a meal!
Noah was all tucked up in bed when we got back so I had a little peak through the door at him.
We went to a buffet place which does Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Indian and Thai!!

I do want to go back to work, I do feel a bit meh about being at home but at the same time I do want to be a Stay at home mum, my mum and dad both worked long long hours when I was younger and I do feel like I never saw them, and I always said when I had kids I'd stay at home for a bit but the reality is never what you imagine is it?
I have no idea what to do really
I was a Cash Office Supervisor. Nothing exciting
