Nutella, but of a weird one but it may help, with naps and first going to sleep at night does she always have a bottle? If so, she may be struggling to fall over without one as it's all she knows to fall asleep? The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Vertbaudet are now flooding my inbox with offers... 30% off all full price items (so if you want bedding, this is a better option) for one week from today, code 5858.0

Gilly, thanks for this and for your other post. She always has a bottle after her bath at night, but not before naps during the day, so I guess she might associate it with night-time sleep...
I think I'll try the gradual reduction in milk - if it doesn't work then we might have to go down the harsher cold turkey routeDon't think OH will be keen, he finds it even harder than me to hear her cry, and I'd worry about the upstairs neighbours, but needs must... Like you say, I really want to get it sorted before going back to work. Will start the gradual reduction tonight - wish me luck

Yay - hope he had another good day at nursery and that you feel better about leaving him for the day on Monday now?!
I do think they should start paying me commission :rotfl:I probably won't order now - she's only six months so we're not ready for duvets just yet, and at this rate they'll send me approx. 1 million other discount codes over the next few months, so I should be able to get some later at a decent price. I tend to buy things long before we need them (I can't resist a bargain!) and I need to stop - we don't have much storage space...0 -

Aiden sleeps with a muslin cloth that he cuddles, he has to hold on to it otherwise he wont settle. He kind of clasps it in his hand and if he loses it rolls abou until he can find it. Does she have a little comforter or anything?

She does have a comforter that she used to love and wouldn't settle without, but then she went off it! When I try to give it to her now, she chucks it away! I think it could be because we washed it (it's white and fluffy and really needed a wash...), so I might try and keep it in our bed for a couple of nights to see if we can get it smelling familiar and comforting again0 -

Good LuckIt'l be worth it. You know she doesn't need it, she's getting enough milk in the day and her 3 meals. If A wakes up (which is rare tbf) I try my best not to give milk, sometimes I'm up for 2 hours before I can get him back over
but I just don't want him to get back into the habit of it.

He had a fab dayhe actually fell asleep eating his lunch there apparently! He never does that here!
I feel alot better about Monday now. I will still be sad, but more for me as I know he will be ok - its just me that will be missing him so much.
I will prob iust order a bumper from vertbaudet, but prob use the new customer promo. If OH agrees on a bumper as he thought some were too girly.....
