Ro eek at having MIL to stay. It's bad that mine lives in the same city, but at least it means she stays at her own place and not ours ;)

Jedi fab news about BFing, keep up the good work!

I would like an injury-free day tomorrow please. Somehow this week I have managed to hurt myself every day, including trapping my thumb in the pushchair while opening it, at the point where it is hinged and gouging a big chunk of flesh out (ouch), and holding a battery with my mouth for a second while I was trying to get another battery out, only for the acid to leak in my mouth and burn me, leaving a blister and some red marks - ouch!!!

Just won a bundle of toys on Ebay for £17, really pleased. Has the ELC Alphabet Phonics Bus, Fisher Price Piggy Bank thing, ELC Alphabet Caterpillar, ELC instruments and loads of other stuff, really chuffed.

How is the latching on going?

I've not tried to latch him on again today as my nipples are unbearably sore still after last night's attempt when he chewed both of them! I'm scared to try again at the moment as I'm scared it'll hurt again. I can't remember if I posted last night to say, but I went to breast feeding group yesterday and he latched on to the left side (the side he latched onto the previous week) straight away - he came off a few times but I got him back on using the exaggerated latch technique. When I got home, I decided to try him on the same side, as I knew I'd had success on that side, and he did it again and fed for about 15 minutes on and off. Then I got brave and tried him on the right side, and although he fought me for a bit, he eventually latched onto that side and fed for another 15 minutes. He seemed milk drunk after that but when I burped him, he was still hungry, so Moon gave him a bottle of expressed milk. At the next feed time, I tried again, but it was really painful and I had to break the seal with my finger to get him off. I've put Lansinoh on this morning and last night, but they are still sore.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I went to my local chemist this afternoon to get some paracetamol and body lotion. I go there fairly often with LO, and hubby goes there too, but rarely at the same time. He got me a lovely perfume for my birthday recently - and now I know where he bought it! When I went to pay today, the lady at the till spotted the photo of my OH in my wallet and said 'is that your husband?! He came in the other day, he said he's got the best wife in the world, so he wanted to get something nice. I hope you like what we recommended'. Made my day :D

    Aw that's so lovely Nutella!

Good luck for tomorrow sexymouse, will be thinking of you.

Sorry the deal was no good :(

George just woke up howling again, this time I think because he'd managed to roll over in his sleep (judging by the red mark on his cheek) and panicked when he woke up. Any tips on stopping him rolling over? Paranoid about him sleeping on his tummy with all the sids stuff. It's chilly tonight so have just put him in his new sleeping bag, hopefully that'll stop him wriggling too much.

    Good bargain gilly!

Have a good trip Sammie! Just realised I never answered you earlier - it's toy library day tomorrow. Got a purse full of change so might end up hiring a car full of stuff!

If he's rolling on his own, he should be ok. As soon as A could roll, it became apparent he was going to be a tummy sleeper like his mumma :o

Boo to the poosplosions Aimless - hopefully things will settle down once his digestion gets used to the new foods.

Lol, the poosplosions have been happening since he was born, the flushable ones he's doing at the moment are a great relief. :D

    Good luck tomorrow.
