Mimi, huge hugs. I hope you have people around you for support at a difficult time like this. Will be thinking of you xxx

Honestly - I haven't told anyone yet, too ashamed to at the moment and not really sure what's happening

We are using infracol which seems to work as denintox did not work for us -I had to go to asda to buy this on new years day. I have managed to get infracol on the minor aliments scheme so its free and is working as he is not as bothered with it now.

Been for my 6 week check and its ok - waiting for 6 week check for ryan to happen.

hi, i havent had time to read back so i dont know if this has been suggested, my LO had terrible colic, it was awful, i gave her Colief and bang, end of, it was like a little pot of magic, have you tried that? it is expensive for the amount of it you get but well worth it and you can get it on perscription.

Thank you, we started infacol two days ago, so will see how that goes, then maybe start colief.

Delain hope it went ok at the docs. Have you registered her at the docs already? I couldn't because i need her birth certificate. and i havnt got an appointment to registar her until 24th Jan. You going to poole to regitar her?

Lauralou - I have a sealed bottle of colief so pm me your address if you want it to try. Didn't help my LO but lots of people swear by it.

Mimi ((hugs)) doubt you've got anything to be ashamed of but concentrate on your 2 dd's x

We had a fairly good night but he seems to be fighting daytime naps at the mo! If it's not one thing...

Mimi - ((hugs)) you have absolutly nothing to be ashamed of, please make sure you get the support you need.

Someone please tell me where I am going wrong!
Noah will not go for a nap during the day without being rocked to sleep first, I tried putting him down in his bed today while he awake and you could see his eyelids closing but he was fighting it. Eventually he was wide awake again and lay there moaning for about half an hour (not crying at this stage), he eventually started crying and got himself into a right state.
It then took me 20 minutes to get him settled and let him fall asleep in my arms.

    can I do an update?

DD is now 7 1/2 mths and we are a month on with the baby led weaning ...going well and so far the only premade baby food dd has had is rusks and fruit puree in a pouch (big mistake mucho mess!).

So far she has really liked

    Rocket, watercress, baby lettuce leaves
bread (in small amounts as bit salty), rusks (easy breakfast), oat biscuits.
    apple and pear rings.
    pasta,
french beans, tenderstem broccoli, normal broccoli, cooked carrot,

    mixed results with

various cheeses (I have looked for lower salt ones like buffalo mozzarella)
slimy fruit like banana and kiwi - likes but cant hold well lol
sloppy foods like porridge more got in her hair than mouth not to mention all the nooks and crannies in the high chair :-)

its definately going better now she has top and bottom teeth.

Will miss those breastfed nappies though we do real nappies and I've not had to do more than one poo nappy a day.

Talking of real nappies LO is now firmly a size two so I have a bunch of size ones to get rid of - does anyone know a good place to sell them - I thought of ebay but they dont seem to like used nappies and since I have lots I would like recoup some of the cost towards new wraps as we need to go up a size soon.

Sorry flower can't help...just to say that my LO has started fighting daytime naps again all of a sudden. He keeps practising his latest tricks and playing but gets whingey after about 20 mins. I then have to go back in and almost get him to concentrate on going to sleep. Once asleep he's good but I think life is far too interesting now to waste time sleeping!

Has your LO ever napped in the day? How old is N?
