Hi Ladies - loving all the pics today! All the babies look so cosy all wrapped up for winter - its my favourite season! Love seeing babes all wrapped up in snowsuits and hats!
I see lots of your LO's have brown eyes, when do eyes normally change colour? Poppy'e eyes are blue with very small brown specks. I have very dark brown eyes and my OH has blue eyes, but I always thought brown eyes were dominant?
I'm off to Matalan tomorrow to buy Poppy some wooly hats after seeing the super cute hats on here!

Boo to work! Hope you're able to make the most of those 6 weeks. But at least Poppy will have a great time with your mum (? It is your mum who'll be looking after her, right?... Or did I imagine that?). I've just realised I'm now over half way through maternity leave... Going back to work in February
Yes you remembered rightly, my Mum is looking after her for the 4 days a week (thank god for Mums!!)
I'm leaving Poppy with her for a few hours tomorrow and I'm going to gradually build the time up to a full day. Don't know what I'll do with myself! I can't believe how quick the year has gone! I was signed off at the beginning of November last year and then Poppy arrived middle of November, then just over 3 months in hospital and then 8 months home together - its really flown by!
Make the most of your maternity leave!

Sunshine - the hat is from matalan. Cane with gloves with an 'L' and 'R' on them!! I'll still put them on the wrong hand I expect!!

I have brown eyes and my OH has blue eyes, my ds1 and ds2 have brown eyes but Noah has bright blue eyes! I have heard brown eyes are the dominant colour but I like Noah's big blue eyes and want them to stay that colour!!

That's interesting to know! I wonder if Noah's eyes will change colour to brown then in the future? I must admit I do love Poppy's eye colour now, but if they change I'm sure I'll love the new colour!

Awww, thank you. I do think she's rather cute, but I think I may be biased!
Glad Aiden likes the seahorse - yay for naps! Great that you were able to try it out - if only we could do that with all toys before buying!
I know, we would save a fortune! The amount of stuff we bought that Aiden wont even touch!

By the way, went to weigh myself this morning only to discover that the batteries in the bathroom scales had died
So no update from me this week, which is probably just as well, given the amount of crap I ate this weekend...

I'm hoping they stay the same, my niece (brothers little girl) is 1 and she has exactly the same eyes as Noah. People always comment on it.

Been thinking about joining my local toy library, but I'm worried about cleanliness and germs - my LO puts absolutely everything in her mouth at the moment... I won't buy second hand toys, so I can't imagine a toy library would be any better - does anyone use one?0 -
I have blue eyes and OH greeny grey, Aiden has blue.
Jannine, I am back in about 8 weeksboo boo boo. I feel like crying everytime I think of it. My mat leave has gone so so fast, my last day at work seems like only last week. I am actually welling up about it now. Thats normal, right???! X
