Morning all, I am we'll and truly shattered today
think I've had about 3 hours asleep, little man just wouldn't sleep lying down or calm down unless he was feeding. He seemsa bit better now, as soon as OH came in this morning he was all smiles. Little traitor after keeping me up all night! To be fair he is all still bunged up and coughing though.
Hope everyone else got some decent sleep.Newborn thread member

Morning all
Katie and Turtle, sorry you've had a rubbish nightHope George is feeling better. Turtle, I know what you mean re. bed sharing - I have a nap with LO every afternoon, and also put her in bed with me after her 5/6am feed, as it keeps her sleeping until 8am. So nice and cosy, and great to get some extra sleep, but I don't want her to get too used to it. But as long as she's also happy to sleep in her cot, I'm not too worried - and if Reuben is OK with naps etc. in his own bed, then I'd have thought you wouldn't need to worry about the odd bit of bed sharing?...
Just took me an hour to get LO to fall asleep... and she normally only sleeps for 20 mins at this time of the day. But I can't really complain - she kept turning over onto her tummy to look at the pictures on the cot bumper, and given the importance of tummy time... oh well0 -

Morning all
for non sleeping babies!
Noah stirred about 6am but I left him and he drifted back off until I woke him at 7.30am. We have got to get a present for my friends little girl today so will probably go to sainsburys for that. Just noticed dp's wallet in Noah's changing bag!! Looks like he will be paying!:D

Morning all
Rough night here too, seems as soon as the Calpol/Nurofen wears off he wakes up miserable. He was up 3 times last night
So this morning we have been to the Doctor, as he was sick last night, very chesty and kept tugging his ear. Apparently Aiden has Bronchilitis, but they don't do anything for it until he has had it for over a week?!? Bit baffled to be honest, I would have thought if he is poorly he needs something to make him better but who am I! He gave us nose drops, which I didn't find great when he had them once before. Apparently tugging his ears is related to it because the mucus is finding its way towards every hole...eww...although it does explain his horrific nappies lately.
If he is no better by Friday I will take him back. Bought some tixylix chesty cough mixture on the Pharmasists advice so hope that settles him. I just want him to have a few hours sleep without being restless.
Sorry George is no better Katiemust be something going round I think. Hope he feels better today.
We have to go out again later so better wrap him up warm. Hopefully signing the new mortgage deal.
Have a good day all xLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

Poor Aiden
hope he feels better soon. Seems mad they won't give anything for it, but I guess it could be so his immune system has a chance to kick it itself so if he gets it again it won't be so bad?
George is much better so far this morning, hope it was just a reaction to the jabs and is on its way out now. Now the calpol is wearing off he seems to be feeling it again though so will get him dosed up again.
Hope you get out and home again in the dry. It's windy here but not pouring at the moment.Newborn thread member

Put on 2.5lbs, not surprising though, birthday weekend, 3 cupcakes, out for dinner and had dessert (a beautiful mixed berry crumble) had a Chinese, Nandos, Dominos, a massive fry up, loads of nibbles, and don't forget the champagne, numerous G&T's and quite a few cocktails, I'm happy it was only 2.5. It really was awesome
lol I've done 25km on the bike since Sunday night to try and do some damage limitation. Luckily with the weather being the way it is, I'm craving soup and stews, which I can have
I've sickened myself over the weekend with all the junk
