Its good Sammie :) its not too strong as it has the lavendar in which smells really soothing. Although I suppose the true test will be if it helps him sleep any better. It was £6 something though, but you do get 5 refils so it isn't too bad!

Apparently Argos have 3 for 2 on all toys starting tomorow. xx

Thanks sunshine I'll have a look around for one. Hope Aiden sleeps better tonight.

Maybe our babies are fed up with the weather too!! Fingers crossed you have another good night tonight. Xx

If so, I don't blame them! Thanks - I really hope so :o Hats off to my dad - he went for a walk with LO in torrential rain and wind this afternoon; he was wearing waterproofs head to toe! LO was of course nice and warm and snug in her buggy, and had a nice nap. I emptied out the basket bit (which is made of fabric) under the buggy before they went outside, and I'm very glad I did - when they got back, her waterbottle, which was the only thing I left, was floating in a puddle of water!

Let us know if it works - the Karvol plug-in did help my LO, but I really didn't like the smell - lavender sounds a lot nicer!
  • Hope this has everybody on....

  • This smiley sums up how I am feeling ....

I thought I had it sorted, bedtime at 8:30, sleep thru til 4ish, feed and sleep til 9 ...but noooo I have been punished for daring to get comfortable and for thinking maybe I was getting good at this mum stuff... Reuben is still up, non stop feeding or crying  I really feel like I have stepped back in time to newborn days.

One more for good measure ...

    Morning all

Sunshine - hope the plug in helped. How is Aiden this morning?

Turtlemoose - oh no! Hope Reuben slept well in the end and you got some sleep.

I don't want to get out of bed :o It's dark and nude table outside. I hate getting up when the house is pitch black still.

Can I join your club please turtle?:eek::eek::eek::eek:
We've had a hideous night too, up 5 times and each time for almost an hour, and we've been up since 5.30  don't know what's up with him. I'm going to make an appointment to see the hv and see if they have any tips as I really can't go on like this. Got a killer of a sore throat and headache now :(

I have to be off early today, got the car in for its mot but it has to be there by 8.30am and the drive is always bad at rush hour. Going to wait for it at fil's so might get some sleep there if George will settle.

Turtle and katie, sorry you are having bad sleeps :(

Katie, hope the hv can help you out. Do you still think he may be ready for food?

Sammie, what is dark and nude table?? :o

Well, plug in worked well until 11:00. He then woke up with the most horrific cough, like a hoarse bark - almoat croupe like. I was so worried about him,.more so I think as our a and e is closed at night so I was worrying myself silly about what I would do if he was struggling to breathe. He took 7oz of cold water at 2am so his throat must have been raw.

Going back to the docs this morn as its not fair to leave him like this. He really wants to sleep but everytime he does he wakes up coughing or doing this funny swallowing thing.

He is up now and not coughing but he is better sat up anyway.

Hope everyone else is well. Hope your headache goes katie xx
