  • We don't have a Sophie, think we're in the minority! The eyes on it freak me out a bit :o

Had the doc check George over today and everything's fine, just a bit of a cough so hopefully will clear up before too long.

Hope everyone's having a good day, I'm about to put him down for a nap (finally got a new mobile as the first one broke, so hoping it will be a stress free nap time!) then have a quick tidy up and I just remembered I haven't watched the latest episode of Downton so will stick that on if I get time.

On hotuk deals there is a post saying 20% off smyths
    http://m.hotukdeals.com/deals/20-off-toys-outdoor-nursery-until-monday-smyths-toys-1316642

I have not used them before but they do sell all sorts including strollers
Just an example following Britax b-agile comes up as £127.99 when added to basket inc delivery I think some having problems adding stuff as out of stock but thought I'd mention in case someone looking for something not normally reduced much

Katie and Sunshine..... They eyes don't last for long though in Sophie! Ours has had regular chewings....
  • Not great news here, Niall was weighed and has dropped a centile, health visitor wants to keep a close eye on it as I am using nipple sheilds and this can result in low milk supply. Hv has asked me to express 4times a day after feeding him to up my supply. Its got me feeling quite stressy. Will go to our bf support clinic next week for help.

Has anyone used coilief with bfing? Have started to use today, do you have to administer drops in a few tablespoons of milk before each feed? I don't know how I am going to manage this:(

  • Laura.. I've been using colief with breast milk.. I just syringe some expressed milk in a small cup.. Add the 4 drops of colief, mix and syringe it back into her mouth when ready.. I use 5ml syringe so there's not a lot of milk. I struggle getting one syringe full in her mouth so didn't bother using tablespoons of milk.
    It's worked so far anyway.

    Hi Ladies!

Sophie is a god-send in this house as well, but she pales into insignificance compared to good old Ewan.

Hope all are having a good Friday night.

Just to add, had a mega embarrasing moment in Tesco's today! I'd wheeled Poppy round in her new pram (love it!) and was stood alone (or so I thought!) in the bread isle when out of nowhere the pet lip popped out so to avert disaster I started to sing the theme tune to Banana's in Pyjama's to her because it always cheers her up! Didn't realise that a young guy was stood right behind me and was listening - I thought I was alone and not at risk of being heard! He just smiled at me and reached over the pram to get his loaf!!! :rotfl:

    Hello All x
Jannine - Rotfl at the singing ! Glad u like ur new pram !

Teething q - not sure of the answer really as Scott varies probably usually 1-2 days of trouble so far and then just general chomping/grumpiness on and off intermittently before the trouble days. Scott only has 2 bottom teeth 1 came at 7 months then another about 3-4 weeks later. So still learning. He likes the teething powders and his milk cold, he also chomps my finger and his terry towelling cloths.

Jedi - don't dispair you will get the feeding sorted and try not to get too stressed about it. I ended up combo feeding after scott dropped too much after first week so got very worried about whether he was getting enough etc hope you get on ok with the expressing and that the bf support is good x

    Hope everyone ok x
