Aww bless him Sunshine - that second pic!! :rotfl:
My friends little boy falls asleep anywhere, Poppy has to be tucked up with Ewan and her dummy before sleep finds her!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

He never normally does, he is a bit of a sod for falling asleep on his bottle but tonight he was shattered. He had his bottle and was still awake so thought I would sneak a last nappy change in, went to get the wipes and when I came back he had dropped off on the rug and OH had took a pic!
Typical, when I am wide awake there is nothing on tv!

Lovely pics sunshine - particularly the sleepy one!!! Wish my boy would fall asleep like that, he's a little so-and-so for sleeping lately! He used to go down no probs but like tonight, put him down, fine for about 45 mins....then whimpers...ignore...then cries...go up and the second he sees me ...big cheesy grin!!!! I laid on the bed (so he could see me through the cot bars) but no talking etc and he nodded off...only for something (dream or real, not sure which) to make him jump so he star-fished and woke himself up and really cried then!!! A short feed though and he was off again, but by this time it was 10pm
I do wish I could have my evenings back

Mine is not amazing by any means. He usually drops off mid bottle but getting him to the cot is sometimes a problem...although the last few nights have been a little better.
Oh, and I know what you mean re the big cheesy grin! Aiden normally does those during his daytime naps!
I am sure he will sort himself out for you
Oooh, by the way - what is Wolverhampton like for shopping? Me and my mum went a good few years back and it was ok-ish, we usually go to Telford early December but wondered what Wolvo was like as they are similar distance from us?x Little Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

I would say ok is a fair assessment. It's not amazing, but it's not terrible either. You've got a fair bit of choice with the high street which then leads to a shopping centre (the mander centre and the wilfrun centre), and then on the ring road there's st johns retail park, then about 5 mins out of town is Bentley bridge, another retail park.0

When we last went there was a newish primark I think, but the centre had afew empty shops. I think we might do a test run before, gives me an excuse to buy some bits on both trips!!
Aiden is stirring
hope it doesn't last all night x Little Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

Well I am still awake and Reuben is snoozing!!! I don't know why but tonight things with me and OH keep going round and round my head. I'm in bed (awake obviously!) and he is downstairs. I've just gone down and snapped at him to be quiet. To be fair to him, if I was asleep (like usual) I wouldn't know he was making any noise. I think I've just sat here and stewed and then gone RAR at him. So now he is probably !!!!ed off and thinks I'm being unreasonable. Which I might be. I don't know

Just to add, had a mega embarrasing moment in Tesco's today! I'd wheeled Poppy round in her new pram (love it!) and was stood alone (or so I thought!) in the bread isle when out of nowhere the pet lip popped out so to avert disaster I started to sing the theme tune to Banana's in Pyjama's to her because it always cheers her up! Didn't realise that a young guy was stood right behind me and was listening - I thought I was alone and not at risk of being heard! He just smiled at me and reached over the pram to get his loaf!!! :rotfl:
Sadly, I can top that. Was in Asda once, singing softly to baby and rocking her to sleep as I went up the aisles- until I turned a corner, saw husband, baby, and several bemused people watching me sing a bag of potatoes to sleep- I'd completely forgotten I hadn't the pram....
Sunshine, don't you love the way the batteries in babies just die all of a sudden?
I love the second pic, we've had plenty of moments where Rose is lively and running- and will turn around to find her asleep.
Sammie, wow, I can remember reading your birth announcement....0 -

:rotfl::rotfl: that is so funny!!
Well done to Rose for walking too :T
It only feels like yesterday we were all on the pregnancy thread. I was so jealous of everyone who was due before me as I was fed up of being pregnant by about 20 weeks!! Even now I still miss being pregnant, don't know why I complained so much!!
