Oh sammie what a sweetie :T
I finally got to sleep around 4...Reuben slept from 10 til 3:30, feed and back down from 3:50 until 9 .....why was he so good on the night I couldn't sleep
I keep saying to him we need to talk, we then have a few days of being super polite to each other...the talk never happens :cool:0 -

Hugs, the lack of sleep obviously isn't helping you either.
Why do you not end up talking about things? Is it because you don't bring it up again or does he not want to talk? What he said to you was completely wrong but if he really wanted to leave would he not just go? Do you think he misses you and him time? I don't know what your relationship used to be like etc but when Noah was about 4 weeks old me and dp used to row over anything and everything and I think it was because we had no time together as baby takes up all your time especially in the early days. I think dp felt kind of left out!!he keeps asking if we can go out for a meal on our own but I still don't feel comfortable leaving Noah!! I think it annoys him sometimes.
Please don't think I'm condoning what your oh has said/done because in not at all, like I said I don't know the ins and outs of your relationship but please don't feel like you are alone. Xx:)DS1 10yrsDS2 7yrs :)DS3 born March 2012

Sammie he doesn't want to talk. When he do, he retreats to the stance of "oh well if we split up you'll just take R and move to Norwich with your family and I'll never see him again" etc
And as for him "just going" the only thing he could afford to do is move in with his mum....that would mean no more overnight access with his older son, plus it's not exactly fun living with your mum aged 36, so he wouldn't do that unless he absolutely had to.
I feel very resentful at the moment, I feel like he used to me get a baby and that I could have been A.N. Other....womb with legs basically.0 -
It must be so hard for you turtlemoose
It sounds like he is trying to make you feel guilty, when you have done nothing wrong by saying he won't get to see reuben if you split up and you move etc.
It must be like banging your head against a brick wall If he doesn't want to talk about anything.

Well we just had a blazing argument. He complained that I don't snuggle him in bed, I said that's because of what happened on hol and we haven't discussed it yet - he said "so you're going to hang on to that for the rest of your life?" .....apparently it was heat of the moment..l.i said you don't tell someone that you have a child with that it's over even if it is heat of the moment, you must have at least thought it a bit....his response was that he has said sorry, what more do I want.
We then argued about his older son, who can do no wrong, then he said the house is a sh!thole and he's sick of it, then he said "just do what you want, you're going to anyway" and stormed off...I can hear him doing the washing up.
We have just reached an impasse, we can't talk without arguing, and neither of us can see the other's point of view. I just don't know what to do. He says he loves me and Reuben, yet it doesn't feel like it at all. I'm sorry i feel like I'm always so negative on here0 -
Cute pics sammie
. I wish I'd had my camera in the bathroom a minute ago - I got carried away with the johnsons bedtime bath -so many bubbles! He looked like a little gnome but I couldn't reach my phone without letting go of him.
Hope you're feeling a bit better turtle? I'm useless at advice really but you know you can always vent to us on here. Sounds like he needs a kick up the wotsit to me. Hope you can get some sense into him soon.Newborn thread member
