Hello all

Welcome silly moo xx

Hope everyone is well. Aiden has been sicky this evening, well all day really he has gaviscon but is still a teeny bit sicky - but today its been quite bad and after his bath at my mums it was awful. He was happy enough in himself and temp was normal. My mum and sis thought he just was moving about too quick after his dinner and it hadn't gone down....he is spark out now so hope he sleeps it off.

Piddling down here all day too forecast same for tomoz so think we will stop in.

Hope jabs are ok katie and hope you get to watch dr who turtle!! I loved it witg david tennant but havent got into this new doc really! x

I only go to the one a week we go to because I feel I have to for Jakes sake, if it was down to me I'd hibernate in my house 24/7.

yay for little victories, Jake has started going off to sleep in his own cot again after a fortnight of climbing the sides of the cot/walking up the bars like a ladder/camando-ing up the cot to grab the camera/basically anything thats NOT sleeping and then crashing out on mummies bed when she gets fed up and lays down to pretend to go to sleep. I only have to give him a rolled up blanket to snuggle with (I've tried age approved teddies but he's having none) and warm his mattress with a hot water bottle. The things I do to get an hours peace

Safe sound glad you found something that works! Reuben loves to sleep with a muslin, I was worried about him suffocating but he just likes to hold it, and occasionally chew it

Sunshine I wasn't massively keen on the new doc but he has grown on me and I quite like him now.

Sammie I would like to go to a few groups too....but the thing is I'm not very sociable, I don't like meeting new people, I find it really hard to make friends, and I struggle to pretend and be nice to people I don't like.....so I worry about it loads and end up not going at all BUT even after saying all that, I really need to make some friends as the small amount I thought I had have all disappeared off the radar since I had Reuben ...so i know I need to suck it up and go to some really :cool:

Well I am still awake!!! Aidens been up since about 12. Wide awake and snotty as hell. He wont lie down so looks like I have a rough night ahead. OH is peeing me off telling me to feed him when I know he is not hungry.

Not sure how much more bad nights of sleep I can take, I cant remember a night where I havent been up with him at some point. He slept for 1 hour in the day yesterday so I thought he would at least got afew hours in but it seems not I think I just have a baby that is very restless

Just calpoled him so will see what that does. May have accidentally on purpose elbowed OH too....serve him right for sleeping :cool:

I've been bumped off the list I'm same day as Little miss money saver but don't think I can edit on phone. Little man G was 8lb 10 born 2:35am Weds 22/8/12. Just over a month and he is sleeping on me, I'm worried to put him down as he's done so well; we had feed, baby massage, feed, bath, comfort suck and bed by 8:30 which is new then feed at 1:30 back down to now, feed at 6! I really hope this isn't fluke but desperate for a wee so will have to put him down

Turtle moose, it was me on fb, thanks again for all the useful info I've been getting green nappies in afternoon (well little man has!) but think it might be my iron tablets? As they are back yellow brown by morning. Can't resist my sleeping baby, used to hate 6 I clock but here I am

Studentmrs, I'll hunt back and see if I can find you on the list.

Aiden finally dropped off at about 4 only to be up at 7. I am shattered! He is so snotty, not bunged up though just a tap of snot!! We are low on calpol too so need to go out at some point.

Im not very good with new people either as I am quite shy. Ive only been to one group and they were very cliquey so I didnt go back. I regret it though and that particular group says up to 6mnths and he is that now so x

Sounds just like me so perhaps all of us just need to take the plunge and go to as many as possible and look for the other person hiding in the corner of the room

Morning all

Yuk rubbish weather here again today. Luckily dp isn't starting work until later today so he took the kids to school do me and Noah could stay in the warm .

I'm the same turtlemoose, because I had ds1 at 18 all my friends still wanted to go out to pubs and clubs etc and obviously I couldn't go. It sort of fizzled out and they stopped asking me and we lost contact after that as they didn't want to do things with a baby and I didn't want to go out and drink etc.
I like going to baby groups as at least we all have one thing in common, we have a baby to talk about!! I have been to s couple that I would never return to though as they are so clicky.

Sunshine - hope Aiden is ok.
