  • Haha sorry Sammie!

I haven't been to the clinic, ended up spending an age in Tesco this morning and he's not happy unless he's being cuddled so don't want to mess him around in and out of the car etc again. Hoping to get him down for a nap soon so I can get some of the shopping put away!

Try raising one end of his cot (I used some books) it really helped with Jake.

Possibly a daft question but do you raise the whole cot or just the mattress? At the moment we don't have much of a snotty problem...touch wood...but the way things are going I'd like to be prepared.

    Hey Ladies,

Sorry to hear about all these snotty babies, I hate having a cold so imagine having a cold when being a baby is horrible as they can't blow their noses!

I'm dreading Poppy getting a cold, she had one when she was on the NICU and it was that bad she had to go back on the CPAP machine to help her breathe. She is still on night oxygen so I avoid people with colds like the plague!

Just had an e-mail about the Sainsbury's baby event which starts next week!

My tumble dryer has gone on the blink this morning, typical when the weather has just turned. Got a man out tomorrow to fix it, I layed it on quite thick to get him out as soon as possible!

Just wondering has anybody put their heating on yet? I don't normally out it on this early but it feels flippin cold and I don't want Poppy getting chilly! The temp in her room this morning was 16.3 and they recommend that below 16 is to cold! Think i'm going to have to put it on!

Oh poor George :( Hope he managed to have a nap and is feeling happier now.

Jannine - funny you should mention turning your heating on, I'm sat in the lounge and thought it felt chilly so considering putting my hearing on too. I think the temperature has definatly dropped the last couple of days where I am.

The whole thing, I just lifted one end and pushed a few (big hardback) books underneath.

  • Hi all

Jannine, we had our heating on twice in the last few days as it has been really chilly.

Had a nice afternoon out with my mum, she treated me to a pair of ugg boots for the winter. Also mothercare have a sale if anyone needs anything, I got some new bedding for him and afew clothes and pjs.

Gave Aiden 3 meals today and dropped a bottle so he is just on 3 bottles. He seemed ok but will see how he goes over next few days xxx

    Hello all :)

It's definitely brrrrr here, I would like the heating on but no chance after forking out for the stroller lol ! I like the cossato ones being discussed and also petite star ! I was looking at getting a factory seconds online for cossato or reworked petite star but ended up with the bjcm as it was a good buy at the time.

Re those with poorly bubba's hope they get better soon. The karvol plug in I'm sure I've mentioned loads is good if they are old enough for it. I am sure kira would be mentioning her battery operated snot sucker too

Scott is driving me mad today he has eaten newspaper, semi screamed through his dinner (probably teething as pink cheeks but not hot :( ) he also was not happy when he was put in his sleepsuit and he positively hates his vtech crawl ball thing!! He's scared of it as it moves itself lol !!!
Dylan is going for gold in his high jump efforts, positively scaling the raised child gates yet again .... He also decided that the leaves I swept on the patio (yes you read right I managed an hour of gardening for the first time lol) were the perfect place to pee

Anyway hope u are all ok ! Xx

Heating's gone on here too. And I've changed from the summer to the spring/autumn duvet as well (I've got one that poppers together a 4.5 and a 9 tog so now using the 9 tog instead of the 4.5).

I've started swaddling Freddie again too. If I just tuck blankets in he gets free within an hour or so and ends up just lying there in nothing but his sleepsuit. I've trussed him up a good 'un :D
