Sending sticky vibes your way dizzie

We had total 1hr 15 in the cot nap round one....I am :j:j:j

I did do something useful...I got dressed (only cuz someone is coming round later though lol) and sorted one box from the spare room. We will unfortunately be moving house end of November so I'm trying to start the decluttering now. If only OH would join in...but he needs it all, bless him ;)

Ooh turtle I'm jealous of you're napping baby! Did he just go off on his own while you were bumbling around the room? Evenif George is happy when I put him in the cot he always ends up howling after a few minutes. I've got into a bad habit of feeding him to sleep that I really need to fix, but it's soooo damn easy! I'm going to try the baby whisperer's "wake to sleep" idea to try and get him to sleep past the half hour mark this time.

Hey, nice to see you back on here! Poppy is fine thanks for asking! Took her to baby clinic this morning and she weighs 12lb 8oz, they measured her length as well for the first time. She is sitting just below the 0.4 centile for weight, length and head circumference, but is in proportion, just a very little lady!

How is Ellie doing after her heart op? Poppy will be having an op to close a hole in her heart, but the Cardiologist said she wants to wait until she is a little heavier, its being controlled by medication at the moment.

    xx

I've been given some info and the Cardiologist has told me its not a complicated operation, but I've not really looked into it yet, I'll only scare myself!

Poppy is still on night time oxygen and her Consultant said she won't be able to come off it until she has this operation.

Its a scary time, but I trust the Doctors and babies are so resilient.

Really glad Ellie recovered well. :)

I tend to feed Freddie to sleep. It's just so easy to do. Having said that I seem to be very lucky with Freddie at the moment. He seems happy in his cot and doesn't cry when I put him in it after a feed even if he's still awake. Grunts and squeals for anything up to half an hour but inevitably falls asleep after that. He only cries once he's woken up again and is either bored or hungry depending on how long he's been there. Hopefully it will last :D

What's the baby whisperer's wake to sleep idea?

Sunshine cannot tell you good things about day 2. It was definitely easier but I woke up in absolute agony today, I couldn't do anything. NO way I could have done it today. Went a run, just shy of 2 miles. Been out walking all afternoon, about 4 hours minus 30 minutes for lunch. I am so sore. Agony! x
