Hello Smlsave glad Jacob had a good birthday!!
It is nice to be back in here!! And like the chatting too xx
Hoping we have persuaded you to stay0 -
Nutella if you are measuring the powder shortly before using then I don't bother with the lids as its less to wash up
Another thing that has been mentioned before on the thread which is quite MSE is for example with avent teats you can add a hole with a sterilised needle rather than buying new teats. Someone told me before and it saves a packet !!0 -

sml - yay, glad the party went well.
I've had a little party here myself tonight (well, i've had the cake haha!!) yum yum
Thanks for the bib links ladies, i've seen the tommee tippee roll n go ones which I like the look of! Just need to find the best price now, and ones that aren't pink!
I must say, i'm enjoying being back on MSE too. Lets hope all those on the pregnancy forums who don't do FB make their way over at some point.
Ro, are you talking about mat for floor ie the plastic tablecloth?
Well i'm going to watch Smash now! Does anyone watch it? xDFD February 2012

I have bought the mother & baby magazine I will probably read it when Scott's a teenager rotfl
I have three months' worth of those too - all still in their plastic wrapping (yep, was pursuaded to subscribe at the Baby Show... all the freebies meant it was too good an offer to refuse!)
PS: Thanks for tips about reducing washing up (always a good thing) & making holes in bottle teats, will definitely do that when the time comes!0 -
Mozzy - yeah mean mat for floor

Thanks so much, that's a massive help. I will order from that website. They are bottle fed (expressed breast milk) and have carobel (thickener) added so will buy the normal shallow angled one.
Thank you!
No problem. Give the shallow ones a try, and you can always get a steeper one if you need it, or raise the mattress a bit with a towel as well. Hope it helps you!

LOL. Just been over to the PG thread, and reminded them we are here, with a link too...
Had a terrible evening with CJ. Dh didn't cover himself in glory. He was helping (good), then came down while i did skin to skin to try and calm her down/get her to feed/go to sleep. I Came down 90mins later, no dinner made, and he had eaten a whole big bag of BBQ nuts, bar 8 which he offered me. Great! So no dinner AGAIN, Going to bed now as expecting her to wake up crying.:(Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Oh no Kira! That's rubbish! Somebody needs a kick up the backside!
Hope CJ sleeps for you, and that you have more luck with the bottle tomorrow. You're also going back August too aren't you? I still can't imagine someone else looking after CharlieBut I also know it'll be great for him to mix with other babies x
