I need to finish completing a survey, roast a chicken for Dylan (my mother doesn't do dog food :o), I need to sort out the patio and downstairs as we have so much paperwork. I might squeeze in a crunchie blast later as reward for doing the patio.

Mozzy - hello am fine, how are you? Hope you get in ok with Charlie at drs wonder if his cough is affecting him being sick more as well bless him. You will be glad when you get the jumperoo as its easy to plonk em in and Scott goes nutts in it sometimes he makes a right racket lol!

Crabapple - Have had my wash on but only some outside! I am sooo not looking forward to weaning mess

Dizzi - I think Dylan will be up to food catching! He has informed me he is not fussy and doesn't need any help clearing up the mess :rotfl:

Is anyone going to any Olympic events? We will be watching tv :o

Elliot seemed to be getting the hang of eating off a spoon until yesterday, when he discovered a new method. If he puts his fingers in his mouth with the spoon, he can help shovel food off it into his mouth. Banana porridge everywhere... because of course the messy fingers had to be wiped on himself and me. This was followed by him doing his favourite trick of raspberry blowing with a mouthful of porridge...

It shows Scott's highchair that's how I found the video so I'm guessing it could be like that !

We use baby dry at night actifit during the day. Waiting on my fluffys arriving though. I find baby dry too bulky between Aarons legs, but I need it to last the 14 hours at night. Actifit are a great fit here :)

With baby groups - I go to one at the local surestart - feels a bit pointless still since she's not quite at the level of interacting with toys yet, but it's more of a routine and exposing her to different situations than anything else (plus with the social services stuff from the birth, that's apparently now 100% resolved - it's a bit of bottom covering for me that I AM accessing support services within the community *barf*... same reason I endure the hell that is baby clinic much more often than most mums do - well, that and the fact the health visitor keeps ringing me up inviting me to pop down for a hug!).

Also started taking her down to the library for their singing and making a huge racket time (it's not called that but it should be!) - similar sort of reason really. Although last time I was down in the library I caused chaos by complaining that she got a Gruffalo library card and I want one for myself!

Gilly - think I might have to invest in actifit!

Dizzi - can see why you say 'barf'! Annoying you having to jump through hoops but it sounds as though you are getting something out of it even though LO is still too young to play properly. I have seen that there is a LO s group here but it says babies to toddlers, that they have toys etc but the website shows pictures of crafts every week am not sure Scott can do bog roll butterflies just yet !!! I know I am going to have to make a effort to go d out if it's suitable :o !

Oh and Dizzi we have one of those books with noise buttons down the side it's a grufallo one Scott likes it !

Dizzi - I'm with you, we should be allowed funky library cards!!

Ro, I go to three baby groups in the week, started with one at 8 weeks then two the next week and then three. I try to make it to all but don't every single week. One is an NCT group (but not limited to those who've been to classes), one at a local church hall and run by my 'back-up mum' who has known me since I was 2 and is my best friend's mum, and the final one is a breastfeeding support group. Munchkin likes staring at the other babies and especially the toddlers.

I found out this afternoon that baby did eat most of a mushroom at lunch yesterday. I guess I will get desensitised as time goes by, but that doesn't help right now!!
