Hi everyone, I've had a quick skim read back and its nice to see a few familiar faces on here. My little girl Phoebe is now 4.5 months old and I can't belive how quickly the time seems to be going. She is doing great and I'm just starting to think about weaning and what I'll do when she's ready for it. She seems very content on her milk at the moment so I'm in no rush really. I liked the concept of baby led weaning but the idea was met with complete disdain by anyone I've mentioned it to in real life which surprised me. Has anyone here tried it, would they recommend it?

Hello all just having a quick nose over here as waiting for my first to be born in January.
I noticed an article in DM this morning about a weary dad who has invented an iPhone app called white noise ambience. I have downloaded a lite free version just in case it might be of any use when bubs is hear. His daughters at 6 months liked the waves crashing.
Have no idea if useful but thought would mention.
Nice to see familiar faces

P loves listening to the environmental sounds. I remember when she was born and I had a rainforest sounds video on youtube almost on constant loop as she slept so well as long it was in the background lol Now she has a cot soother and a twinkle scout with the sounds on it which is great. I also found putting her pram next to the washing machine when it was on was great for getting her to go to sleep.

Hi claire!! Wow can't believe Phoebe is 4.5 months already! Hopefully you will be fully joining us soon Ro. It's lovely so many are using this thread - nice to follow up after babies are born!!

Interesting claire that your bubs liked the rainforest noise and the washing machine!! Will be trying out these things if it hits the fan!!!

is anyone having weird dreams?i seem to be having a lot about other half having kids with other women that i dont know about etc thought they would stop after i had Ellie but they seem to have got worse!
