oh i want rid of my jelly belly. i think i might hit the wii fit.

I felt really emotional last night i have been so good at putting her back to bed but last night i needed to cuddle her.

is anyone else uncomfortable with other people holding their baby? i am fine with family but friend i am not so keen. one friend wanted me to take a pic of her holding Ellie with her bloke i hated it felt like they had taken my baby to play happy families with. whats wrong with me? is this normal??

lol jenjade, totally normal, i was exactly like that, espec with OH's family, no reason at all, but I just wanted to snatch him back after 5 seconds! It does disappear somewhat, you'll be handing her over before too long

Jen, when I had my lanky teen a million years ago, they were a sicky, colicky baby, and I remember being advised to avoid fizzy drinks to see if it helped. You are breastfeeding, aren't you? I remember using tons of infacol!

We have taken our little boy off BF now as its getting my wife down and getting a very sore back.

We have this kettle

Hello-can I join in please? My little man was born on Christmas Eve, his name is Lewis We also have a 3 year old - Elliot.

I'm a bit slow in joining, as we have all had a rough time over the past few weeks. My 3 year old was in hospital for 4 nights just after i gave birth to my 2nd, then i ended up being in hospital too as i was ill. We're just about getting back to 'normal' as such being at home and trying to get used to a new daily routine with Lewis. I've been finding it hard, with being ill and my husband had to stop with Elliot at the hospital for the week so i was at home with baby. I had to ask my parents for help. I'm trying to forget xmas now and move forwards, the only good thing for us was having Lewis-the rest was horrible to be honest.

I can see a few familar names off the pregnancy board hello. xx

hmmm roo keeps being a bit funny, messing about when feeding and not latching on, keeps getting my nipple in his mouth, then spits it out again, then when he does finally feed, he comes off about 3 times in the half an hour and cries each time even when hes finished, any ideas?

yeah i am breastfeeding. really strugging to find anything to drink other than water. i drank loads of milk when i was pregnant but gone off that now. Water it is i guess

lol jenjade im still like that with my 3rd, even my best friend for yrs yrs came up the hospital when i had him and took him for a cuddle and i was like "but he is mine " i didnt say it out loud though. and out shopping the other week when it was time to pick the kids up she was like "why dont you pop back to mine and i will walk samuel to get the kids and meet you there give you a break for half hour to have a sit down" really really love her but i love my baby more lol

and ive always loved drinking coke so it really hits hard when i am pregnant and br, went andbought 3 massive bottles last week when i stopped lol not too much coke or any carbonated drinks if your breastfeeding though hun. x

hi baileyb welcome, well done for your wife trying and you supporting her, it can get you very down and be quite a struggle so you have to do whats right for your family, try to reassure her and make sure she isnt feeling guilty for stopping, she may become a bit emotional again oer the next few days, i know i did.
re the kettle i bought a cheap one from tescos just for samuels bottles, boil the water and leave for half hour before i put it in his bottle ready for the next feed. not sure about the one you have as ive never read up on them. x
i know what you mean about the back ache too, mines been killing me since i had samuel, not sure if its anything to do with the epidur
al i ended up having , thats the first time i had one and my backs still not right

keeleykat hi and a big welcome, lewis is a fantastic name (my middle one is called lewis) congratulations on the new addition. sorry to hear youve all had a rough time, just hibernate now by yourselves until you get into a routine and are comfortable. but come and ramble with us often lol. x
