I have news...

Hope everyone well and fantastic news Jen.
Think someone was asking about low weight baby clothes - on Boots in the "when its gone its gone section" there are some low birth weight items - might be helpful. Also pramsuits for smaller babies. Sorry no link. buts its the mini club range.
Also there is a pink pramsuit for up to 3.4kg - think someone (lucy?) mentioned wanting one. hope this of use.0 -
Morning all.
Just downloading the relax and sleep app now Mozzy. Thanks for tip x
Had HV yesterday...is anyone else overwelmed with info re check ups, baby clinics etc or is it just me? Its just so hard to take in anything anyone says at the mo.
Dreading hubby going back to work on monday:(
Pleasure!!
To be honest, i was exactly the same. I still haven't found the time to look through all the stuff she gave me. All's I know is roughly where the baby clinic is (by sainsburys hampton), and she said to go roughly the same time as my 6wk check. Your clinic might be the same as mine? xDFD February 2012

Wow, that's brilliant!
Had the medical part of baby's 6 week check today, I found it almost as rubbish as mine. The doctor whizzed through the checks, didn't really tell me what he was checking for each time, didn't bother noting any of it down in his book so I can't look there, and was more interested in declaring him fit for immunisation. Errmm, no, I'm not having him jabbed while he's coughing till he's sick more than once a day, sleeping loads, and off his food a bit. The nurse on the way out told me to book for next week, but I think I'll wait till he's well actually.
He actually slept all night last night! Which I'd be really pleased about, except it's only because he's not well.0 -
Lirin sorry to hear you are struggling so badly with your health just now.
Hope things improve soon.
Gilly hope the formula works as well for you as it did for us. Saying it was life changing is by means an overstatement
Jenjade that is fabulous news!
Jannine my daughter loves Disney Junior which we discovered when her brother put Handy Manny on. Luckily its time coincides with one of her few episodes of wakefulness so she gets to watch it with her brother every day. I justify it though by insisting that it an important part of brother/sister bonding! :rotfl:
Kira how is your LO getting on since having her tongue tie treated?
Ro I am envious of your bargain. No matter how much I hold out thing I plan on buying always remain at full price no matter how long I leave until the day after I have actually bought it. Then usually the items will be on special offer in every shop out there! :rotfl:
Lucy I made a point of not paying any attention to the mountain of paper that our HV gave us. My theory being that I had enough to be dealing with in looking after a new baby as well as her older siblings and didnt have time for any additional annoyance. Also as she gave them to me in my living room I knew that she knew where to find me if she needed me for anything.
Hope your LO gets better soon Aimless.
Also sorry to the two posters that I mixed up last night. I was a bit distracted and not properly paying attention.
Mozzy I still havent read through any of the paper given to me and my baby is almost 9 months old now!0 -
Thanks koalamummy. So far so good! Im glad I pushed for it even though we were told an intollerance was unlikely. He still has his wee cranky time but even looking at him he's calmer already, hes so still compared to before, not as much squirming and leg kicking. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Hi Ro! Busy doing the night shift haha!
How are you hun? How is Lo?
Just done his night feed. Tell you what, I have a strong minded 3wks baby boy on my hands. My friends have been round, and they can't believe how long he stays awake for during the day. I try every trick, but he fights the sleep. He's usually still awake 6hrs later without sleeping, or giving me a rest!
And winding him, oh my, he hates it. Starts crying and flinging his little head everywhere! Tried over shoulder, over knee, leaning forward....
He's going to be a lot of work haha x
Koala, no probs about the posts hun, I completely understand haha xDFD February 2012
