Haven't told hubby yet
Heck your organised Ro! Not even thought about high chairs yet!
Just back from the clinic for Poppy's weight check and she has gained 4oz in a week so not to bad! My HV always flaps and panics about Poppy's weight gain and always goes on about the graph that they plot the weight gain on as Poppy isn't following any of the lines, she is to small! I'm not to bothered though as the Doctor said as long as she's gaining she's doing OK. I feel like saying to the HV, she was born over 12 weeks early and weighed less than 2lb's - she's not doing that badly!! As long as the Doc is happy with her progress and Poppy seems to be happy than I'm happy!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Aww - never thought of it like that! My house is full to the rafters with baby stuff, people just keep giving me little girl clothes! My hubby would probably go mad if I bought a high chair now! I've just been sent a booklet with babies r us vouchers, must check when the expire and think about high chairs, its probably the only thing I haven't got already!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Oh no - think I'm a bad Mummy!
Just discovered that Poppy likes to watch telly! I've put her in her bouncy chair in front of a Disney film and she was transfixed!! She watched for about 10 minutes and fell fast asleep! Think I've found the way to send her to sleep when she's been a little monkey and grizzling!!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Don't panic Jannine! A little bit of tv is not going to do her any harm! Also saw your post above about her weight - 4oz is pretty good. The HVs do seem quite variable on weight issues, some people being told that gains aren't enough. That's quite a lot on a little baby and if the doctor is happy that's all that matters.
Ro, you've reminded me that I don't have a high chair either. However, cot mattress is probably more of a priority first! Got to get the cot over from my parents house and clean and paint it (the hideous 70's transfer of a bunny has to go!!):heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls
