Well, we've finally had the mustard mr whippy! Would be a yay moment but so far she has not settled and is still screaming at DH. He's apologising to her for mummy and daddy taking away her best work:rotfl:

Kira, I may well need to be less subtle with DH but I'd kind of like to see if he thinks it through. He may well but I'd bet money he'll be reminded by his mum, mine, and his (female) boss!

He was very sweet the other night as I said I wanted a bath with bubbles in - first time since baby came along as I couldn't initially with my stitches and then I've only been having baths with the baby so no bubbles for her - he went upstairs and put about a bottle full of bath foam in, then came down for a whisk. I had about a foot of foam!

    Hello all
Mozzy- hello sorry u are struggling with LO does oh give ua break

Hi Ro!! Yes he does, but our luck, his work has given him this huge project to oversee since Charlie was born, so he's going in early, coming home late, and then having to work when he's home too, so not getting much quality time with Charlie.

I had a good ol cry today, just from feeling exhausted and overwhelmed by it all. The constant crying can really take its toll, and sometimes I just don't feel cut out for it. But then other days are fine and he sleeps during the day. Just today, he had about 3 lots of 20min naps from 8am this morning, so its been a long day :(

Oooh what have I let myself in for. Me and Aaron are going home for 11 days on Sunday. Luckily I'm flying home with 2 good friends so will have their help for the airport/flight with Aaron. But 11 days without OH?!? How will I cope  So so terrified, but my OH needs time where he's getting a good nights sleep to get his dissertation finished, and it'l be hard for us all being separated, but this is a good thing for our families future!

Hello all thought I'd post just in case i do something stupid again in the night :o

Kira- u did what 3 days after birth :eek: I could not move u should have been resting like a royal queen !! My bits would have fallen to the floor.... If id have done what u did!!

Crabapple - hope LO calms now the poonami has gone

Mozzy - your oh's work sounds Pants, my hubby is getting all stressed as end of financial year/new staff who don't know enough yet. Big hugs it's not easy without family support. Is he feeding loads as well so not much time between. Wish they could just say what the problem is. I found with Scott when he was getting stroppy needed to break the cycle by doing something different eg changing him then he seemed to calm ( he did not need changing). Someone said about bathing with LO would he like that? Otherwise oh could do like another mser posted and would sit in his car with engine running to calm LO but instead listening to radio he would have his laptop and you could get some kip.

Re mothers day pressies still waiting for my birthday present from feb :( iphone radio/dock really wanted a pressie for giving birth but nada but mum Gave me butlers choccies, flowers etc:)

Can't remember what I was going to type now lol Ro xx

I am sure a few family members will take him off your hands ;)

Tell me about it. I really struggled to do that walk, but the carpet needed vacuuming before visitors arrived (no, really it was so bad that it did!) and LO was too unsettled to deal with it, and i couldnt lift and push the hoover. So DH had to hoover, and i had to take LO for the walk. I really struggled. I'm not sure which wasa more uncomfortable my destroyed lady bits, my post pushing bottom grapes (sorry tmi!), or my ruined pelvic girdle. Got home and collapsed in a heap!

Crabapple, i could have been more sublte, and i know what you mean about wanting to see if OH does it off his own bat. But i know that if i did that, and he didnt, i would just be cross and upset, and it would be too late for him to do anything once i nudged him, so no point in asking for trouble! Tried it a few times with valentines and birthdays, and it was a big FAIL!
