I tried to shower yesterday before hubby came home and put Poppy on my bed and as soon as I turned the shower on she started to cry! I didn't mind though as it gave me the excuse to leave Poppy downstairs with Daddy and have a relaxing soak in the bath with a book. Haven't done that since having Pop's so was a lovely treat and I really enjoyed it.

Little monkey is asleep in her basket and my 3 dogs are asleep next to it. I have been so pleased with how they have reacted to her being at home. They are gentle (not easy being big boxers) and they look worried when she cries. If I put them out for a wee in the garden, they come running back in and peer into the moses to make sure she is still there! Think they are going to be great friends when Poppy gets bigger! Obviously I never leave them alone, so when I go to the loo I have to squeeze in with my 3 boys!

Well done on the pram walk Ro, I love going out with the pram and doing long walks, but its raining here today. I did a 2 hour walk on Tuesday to a baby and toddler group so don't feel to bad about my lazy day today!

Right really must get dressed and moving!

My boys just want to lick her, she must smell good to them! I let them have a lick of her feet, but nothing else! I have seen my youngest dog eyeing up Poppy's teddies, but they know better than to take one!

I have this great idea to get fit by buying one of those dancing games for the wii! Had anybody tried one/got any suggestions? I've lost all my pregnancy weight (didn't gain much at all after having such an early baby!!) but I just want to tone up and get my flat tum back again!

We've had some sad news, our lovely next door neighbour is in hospital and has been told her cancer is terminal, and at 4 stone already she won't have long, as she is now so frail :( At least she got to meet our LO.

Jannine, I'm just using the wii fit, the yoga seems pretty good but hasn't had much effect yet (still, only done it a few times). If I can get a babysitter DH and I can start dance classes again, probably ceroc as that's the closest.

Jannine - hope Poppy has put some weight on and that you get the sickness sorted. Strange that it is suddenly happening and for both milks.

I had a lovely long hot shower yesterday - took advantage of my parents being here so I didn't have to worry if she was crying! Usually have to wait for DH to get home or resign myself to hopping out far too soon.

Ro, I'm amused at the idea of the boob monster! Not had that issue, my LO seems to be surgically attached at times...

LO has met one dog who licked her foot - definitely a dog greeting! Our cats have sniffed her but are largely uninterested, even when she cries. They are interested in the toys though, as everything rattles or has bells or crinkles in. I put baby on a new playmat today and I'm not sure if she was more interested in the dangly animals or our youngest cat! Had to kick him off it now that she is back in her crib.

Has anyone tried or heard of Tissue Salt Mag phos? My friend said her doctor gave it to her son for cramping pains etc, and it worked wonders. Thanks!

hi Ro the only time I have come across it is where it has been used as a muscle relaxant. It helps with period pains and most other muscle cramps too. It is supposed to help with labour and delivery....but I never got far enough along to find out :o

Bluebell, that's so sad about your neighbour. My neighbour passed away last year and I didn't realise how much I would miss the little chats over the fence.

Me, hubby and Poppy are off to a christening in a couple of weeks and I need ideas for presents please?! I've never been to a christening before as my family aren't religious at all so I'm clueless when it comes to presents. Plus the little boy is 18 months old so not really a baby anymore.

I ordered Poppy the cutest dress from Next and my goodness she looks soooo cute in it. I've attached the link below. My Mum thinks I'm mad to spend that much for a dress she will wear once but I really couldn't resist! She deserves to look gorgeous!
