Can't remember who it was asking for a Preemie baby coat/snowsuit, but i noticed earlier, our Boots have a premature baby clothes section. They had things up to 3lb, 4.5lb and 6lb i think. Might be worth looking there.

Been to baby clinic today, little man now weighs 11lb 1oz, at 5weeks old
Cant believe how heavy he's getting.
He decided to wee on nasty Midwife too. Had to try my hardest to not smile :D

    Hope you're all well x

Ooh I might have a look for a coat in there tomorrow! I'm buying a new pushchair tomorrow, I think. I'm fed up of my fat off bulky one. It's second hand too and not in the best condition so I'm going to treat myself and Harry to a lovely Cosatto one, seeings as it's relatively cheap.

Tell me about it. I really struggled to do that walk, but the carpet needed vacuuming before visitors arrived (no, really it was so bad that it did!) and LO was too unsettled to deal with it, and i couldnt lift and push the hoover. So DH had to hoover, and i had to take LO for the walk. I really struggled. I'm not sure which wasa more uncomfortable my destroyed lady bits, my post pushing bottom grapes (sorry tmi!), or my ruined pelvic girdle. Got home and collapsed in a heap!
    :eek::eek::eek: well still can't believe it !
Just testing to see if site really give down how rude!

Hi all. Hope everyone is doing well.

A few of you have mentioned lo not sleeping dd is the same only sleep on me or oh but ive started to put her down in her nasket in her cot and so far its worked each time. Ive been making sure she is tired/falling asleep on me do i then put her down in her basket sje then starts crying so i just stroke the side of her hair and shhh usually tskes between 5/15 mins to get jet to sleep. Will keep doing this and try and not give in and pick her up! I dont mind if a couple of times she sleeps on us but then dont want to confuse her.

Talking about mothers day i usually have to remind oh about it so literally have to give him his mums card and make sure he writes in it. I may give him the card on sat so he can go out sun to get me somethong!! I have been dropping lots of hints that i need new slippers!

Sorry for all the spelling mistakes on phone. Dd in basket asleep so why im up i dont know oh well enjoying the rest in bed may have to put jeremy kyle on and hope it doesnt wake dd!

Had a really grumpy girl all evening, finally managed to get her to settle about 9.30 after lots of feeding to calm her and sitting by her moses basket listening to her grizzle for a while. Hopped into bed myself thinking she'd kick off again in a few minutes, and she ended up sleeping until 3.30am:j. Then it was a quick feed and change and she went back down until the alarm went off for DH to go to work!

Kira, you have a point. DH would be really upset if he didn't manage to get me a card at least. He's come home from work many times thinking he'd done something wrong because other people do x or y. Like us agreeing not to get each other christmas presents this year. Keep having to explain that as long as I don't mind it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Perhaps I'll just make sure my mum mentions it to him so he can pretend he thought of it himself!

They probably did not do the nhs route or have hours and hoooouuuuurs of labour. They probably had minions who stretched their bits so the baby falls out (lady bit yoga in case your wondering pioneered by gwinnie) therefore no problem  plus they can buy the best drugs :rotfl:

    Morning ladies!

Well I downloaded the Relax and Sleep app from the android market, and am busy playing the large fan noise next to Charlie, and he's fast asleep in his moses basket. Result! Even if just for half an hour, gives me time to get dressed, do dishes, sterilise next bottle and clean kitchen. Oh, I might try grab some breakfast too haha.

Oh and me swapped feeds last night so I could sleep. I did the 10-11pm shift, he did the 2am-3am shift, and I did the 5am-6am shift. So got to lie in bed from 11-5am which was nice. Didn't sleep all that time, but was nice not to have to get up at 2am.

Speaking of poonami - I had one this morning haha. And it kept on coming, cue me frantically tearing at my huggies cotton sheets, wiping and putting under bum!! And must admit he looks his calmest when doing a poonami. Almost in bliss haha

Oh, and have been using the Mothercare swaddle blanket at night (from 10pm-2am, then take him out of it) and it really does settle him! Then he gets put in his sleeping bag, which also has worked wonders for us. No more blankets being thrown around at night.
