Wonder Womble - If your LO leaks then maybe its best to keep changing the nappy for now. Have you tried doing it with as little light as poss and not moving out of the moses basket? Pampers Baby Dry works well for us at night time and has done for many months. I always used to change her at dreamfeed time (around 11pm) and if/when she woke during the night. I think I stopped changing her nappy at dreamfeed time at around 5 or 6 months and we've never had a leak. Try different nappies and see which ones work well for your baby's shape0

WW - glad you have spoken to someone, hopefully they will be able to help you. With the nappies you could try going a size up as others have said or try a supermarket own brand. I personally find saisnburys good and know others like aldi/asda nappies. I still changed LO in the night until she was 4 or 5 months , she has never slept through though wasn't a problem but annoying when it wakes them up more.0

hugs ww hope you are feeling better soon. you have done the hardest bit i had depression with DD1 it is still hard to be honest about it now but basically it was a planned pregnancy and all went well loved her to bits until she was about 3 months old. then i was so tired and drained i told other half i didnt want her and even told him we needed to get rid of her and i wanted her adopted. Still so hard to admit. I wish i had asked for help but i was to frightened.

Jen - at the chain smoking kid! I'm really into "16 and Pregnant" and "Teen Mom" at the mo. Addictive stuff!
Does anyone else use an Ergo baby carrier? Mine arrived today and I'm excited to try it out. We had a P&T one when DD was younger but it wasn't very good. I'm hoping that DD will like it enough for when we go to Paris. Really can't see her wanting to sit in her buggy all day every day!0 -

Jen - They are on MTV. Also repeated on Living I think. The new Teen Mom is on Wednesdays and 16 and Pregnant has just finished. Although they are repeated all the time! I love them. I found it hard to cope with a newborn and I'm 33 - goodness knows what I would have been like at 16 lol0

Wonder womble glad you are getting some help. It's so much better to admit to a problem, but very hard to do. Hope things get easier for you soon!
Regarding nappies, my 16 week boy wears Tesco super fit size 4 at night. Went up from size 3 a few weeks ago. Size 4 is 15lb - 40lb and Daniel is 16 lb. I put the nappy on after bedtime bottle, then then give him a 8 oz dream feed bottle, and don't change him till after his 8oz 'breakfast' bottle. Never leaked yet. I use washables the rest of the time but as he drinks so much milk need disposable for bed.
Had a terrible night sleep last night. After his 11pm dream feed Daniel woke at 2:30am wanting more Then DD woke and climbed into bed with me and coughed for ages until she was sick. Finally got her back to her own bed at 5am. argh! :-( Bought banana porridge today and have been shovelling it into Daniel so hopefully that will keep him going better than just milk. Really want to get more than 4 hours sleep tonight!!First Baby born January 2007

Evening all. Thanks for the email jenjade. Good night with Jacob again yey. We had a lovely day at our local soft play. He was as good as gold while the other 2 played. I don't know if I mentioned this but he failed his hearing test in one ear. The first time the health visitor didn't get a 'clear response' and then the second time it kept flashing up something about probe placement. But because of stupid rules, she can't now try again so have to have a proper hearing technician come out. It's crazy - there is nothing wrong with his hearing whatsoever. Now they have to come out and put probes on his head poor little mite. They want him sleepy while they are doing it - that's not going to happen lol! He's too nosy and doesn't sleep much during the day
samuels got this on monday afternoon for the hearing, remind me and i will let you know how it goes and what they do. xnow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0 -
I love the name Evangeline Mrs Giggly.
As my LO is constantly hungry I'm thinking of going onto formula as I'm struggling to cope with the demand. What's the best formula to go onto having breastfed for 10 days??
