Jen. Hope Ellies chest infection clears up soon. She's a little fighter :) x

Has anyone had any baby portraits/professional photographs done anywhere? And at what age?

We have a Portrait Place studio in town so thinking of going at the weekend, there was vouchers in our bounty bag so get a free sitting and 10x8 print. The packages are reasonably priced too.

We used Venture for DD but the cost was staggering

  • Ellie does look so brave Jen, glad things are going well so far.

Well we had 3 poos today, after the last one being Weds morning. Hopefully that'll mean a bit less grunting tonight and tomorrow. Not sure what did it, plenty of bicycle legs and water/OJ yesterday, combined with my packet of fig rolls today maybe!

45 min naps can be normal for some babies, but Ella will sleep for 2-3 hours if I hold her so she is obviously capable of it which makes me think that she should have longer than 45 mins. If your baby is happy after 45 mins then that probably makes it a bit easier. Will be using Weds, Thurs and Fri this week to be more observant to her routines, timings, moods etc which might help me with timing the naps for maximum chance of success when I start putting her in the cot from next week.

kira a few times samuel used to go 5/6 days in between, wasnt in pain or clenching his legs up and hv said it wasnt a problem as he was having wet nappies. now im weaning him and omg the nappies are so different lol

Ellie is doing so well bless her, I hope her chest infection clears up soon!! X

Thomas is just over his double ear infection though I have to keep giving him the medicine until it runs out. He'll have to go back to the doctor in a week though, his ears popped so they'll need to check if they've healed or not.

I can't believe he's 7 months old on Wednesday. Closer in age to a toddler than a newborn. I'm sad, and happy.

My period went missing for 3 days but she came at 5am this morning along with crippling stomach cramps. I'm in agony.

So, more on the gripe water trial... Lo woke herself up crying with trying to pass be wind again. I got her out and gave another half dose of babys bliss before her feed. Within minutes she.let out two long streams of parps, and passed burps and little bubbles whilst feeding with no help. Looking impressI've for the stuff so far.
She is now fed and sound asleep again where this time yesterday , she was moaning and crying.
