    Hello all
    Re the poo discussion
Scott is roughly once a day longest he had gone is 3 and he is ff and b fed.
Saturday we went to a local farm shop place that has restaurants, shops and animals/places for kids to play. It was lovely to get some fresh air, granny pushed the pram a bit and dylan has had a groom. He smells lovely now :happyhear but for how long?!
Dylan wanted to chase the swans and was not sure about the goats.
Why does he want to eat bird poo? :0?
Hubby back to work today :0

The reflux problems u have been talking about sound horrible (hugs)

Bought another flask today I don't think we have ever boiked kettles so much!

    Hello sitting x

:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heart :( Proven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j
  • She will sometimes have her first nap in her basket but won't go past the 45 min wake up mark.

Is this not a normal length for a nap? My LO naps for 45 mins, if I get her back to sleep it will only be for 5 or 10 mins.

In terms of putting LO in her crib, I found a dummy to be the answer.

Gilly, Is his crib just propped up? We had that done, and it did help, but this reflux wedge and sheet has made so much difference, as the angle is so much steeper than you can do just propped up.
The one we have is nearly the same as this wedge and sling.

We saw the GP last week, who prescribed CJ ranitidine. He wouldnt give her Gaviscon, as he said its no use for BF babies, as you cant mix it with EBF and cant put it in their bottle. TBH i think its the volume of stuff coming up and choking her that bothers her, as much as or maybe more than the acid itself.

Kira, at your next review ask about domperidone. I think it's meant to help clear the feeds through the system quicker so there's less to bring up. It's used in conjunction with ranitidine. Hth x

Ellie looks lovely :) Hope she's back home with you soon.

Elliot is entirely bf and poos several times a day at the moment. He often waits until he's got a clean nappy on before doing a huge poo, so then we have to change him again.... He does make a lot of noise about it though, and is quite windy. He decided to start straining and grunting at about 6am this morning, and went on for well over an hour. Yawn.

He's got his 6 week check today :)
