Jenjade, thanks for the update and photos of Ellie. Glad to hear you are looking after yourself as well despite all the stress and worry.

Hugs also to Ro, I hope you get some news about an appointment for your little man soon.

Can't help with transferring to cribs for naps. She's been napping in her crib or carrycot from the beginning, at least most of the time, but she's still difficult to transfer and can easily change from a fast asleep baby having had cuddles or a feed and dropped off to a screaming one as soon as she gets put down. She's getting better at settling though and I guess they just get used to it slowly.

My LO is 100% bf and poos can vary. Last one was friday morning... she has gone for 5 days before. HV and midwives only worry if you aren't getting wet nappies regularly, or if what does eventually come out is hard. She does fart a lot but doesn't seem too bothered by it. Once in a while though she does one so loud it wakes her up! We tend to bicycle her legs when changing her just to encourage everying to work its way through.

I have just started doing some expressing, with the aim of producing a full feed for her to have by bottle (starting slow on time on the pump and up to about 1.5oz a session so far) so DH can do a night feed on the weekends and let me sleep. Gradually getting more out, and bless her, she guzzles down the bottle at the end of the day when DH gives it to her so we haven't got to worry about her refusing bottles which people kept saying was a concern as she hadn't had one yet. Think food is far too important to her no matter how it comes:rotfl:.

Thanks for the poo information ladies. Still no output here, but its "only" day 3.
Had another night of ringing over trapped wind, but the baby's bliss gripe water arrived this morning so have tried it out. Reading up, lots of people said use a half dose, so i did that. Had a steady stream of little stinky parps for a few hours. Took Cj to the tongue tie clinic ( they agreed and performed the snip there and then) and then i gave her another half dose after a feed when we got home. She let out two HUMUNGOUS burps within 5 mins of taking it, without any burping. May all be coincidental, but so far so good! Plus whilst she looked uncertain about taking it, she didn't wail like she has with taking the dentinox and infacol.

Tongue tie clinic was soooo fast. The surgeon spoke to me for 2 mins to discuss symptoms, said she would look and see if there was a tie, the nurse took cj off me, we went in another room, and they brought her to us minutes later all fore, and gave her to me to feed. Might be imagining it, but her suck feels noticeably stronger straight off!
