I'm off to my 6 week check shortly. I think i'll ask about the mini pill, for a month or two's time but stick to abstinence/condoms till then as i dont trust myself to remember to take them at the mo with being tired and not enough routine.

Am very nervous cos i have to take LO with me, and it will be my first time taking CJ out in the car by myself. Managed to do everything with the pram till now, or with DH driving us. Eek! Still its gotta be done sometime, and i guess once ive done it, the world is my oyster again!

LO has been asleep almost all day, had lots of time feeding between 7 and 8 then slept until 12.15, then back down after half an hour of emptying my boobs which were like rocks by then:rotfl:

Not thought about contraception yet!! Got a follow up appointment on my repair on Thursday so might think a bit harder about it after that but right now it is not a consideration!

Had exciting news this morning as my best friend has had her second little girl (due Weds). Started feeling contractions at 1am, baby arrived just before 4.30am at home with paramedics in attendance and the midwife turned up after the baby. Wasn't supposed to be a home birth, just happened way too fast for anything else! Everyone is good although she and her OH are a little in shock!

hello hope everybody is doing well

For anybody whose baby is displaying a reluctance to, or difficulty with formula feeding I just want you to know there is hope out there. My baby girl now actually puts her hands out for her formula and smiles at it whereas before she used to try and hide from it.

Ahhhh, don't tell my dh, but Gp gave me the all clear down below at my 6 week check this afternoon, so theoretically, we are good to go... Hmmm. i think.sleep comes higher up my priorities right now!!! What dh doesn't know, can't give him ideas.. lol.

Im wondering if you have to wait for your doctors check before you can drive or if it is ok after 6 weeks? Around here you have the check at 8 weeks, and Im really looking forward to driving and attempting DTD. Anyone have any advice?

Carmilla , do you mean post C section. I can't help on that front.. Was wierd driving today, first time since early December..
